I’m hoping all of the Denver critics come out tomorrow to discuss this “low-scoring” game the Patriots just had. I’m being so honest when I say this, I believe the AFC Championship will be Denver vs Houston.

  • Swear the broncos have done that all year, but the critics will not hear it

The Broncos did it all year against the Jets, Raiders, and Titans. That matters. The Pats had a similarly terrible schedule and blew those teams out, hence the difference in perception

The Patriots lost to the Raiders fam

We played the Jets once…..overseas. NE played them twice in conventional setup. We beat LAC 19-3, they just beat them 13-3. NE lost to LV, PIT, beat ATL by 1, beat BAL by only 4. Not like they were all crushing wins by NE, nor didn’t lose to teams shouldn’t have.

First I can point to every single team in the league and say they had a bad loss here or beat a mediocre team by far less than they should have every year. It’s the NFL, that shit happens. Second we won 19-3 vs the Chargers backups. When Herbert and the rest of their best players played we lost. Let’s not be disingenuous about results.

But how many of these games against non playoff opponents were they losing or tied in the 4th quarter? The answer is 2, week 2 against Miami where they trailed for 10 seconds in the 4th quarter and against a mediocre Ravens team. Their close games against bad team were games where they were in control but unable to slam the door shut. How about us? Well we had 3 plus two games where we were tied at at least one point in the 4th. Those games being the Jets, miracle comeback against the Giants, and first Chiefs game while the ties were the OT game against Washington (we led the entire 4tb quarter tbf) and the Oladuken Chiefs game. Now I will admit that it’s less than I first thought (I was misremembering the Titans and first Raiders game) but having 5 games be tied or losing in the 4th quarter against bad teams is a lot more than two. It’s ok to say the Pats were more impressive against a terrible schedule than we were because they were. We’re very similar teams but they had more repeatable results. They didn’t rely on close game luck like we did.

So our Broncos had no injuries all season? Being forced to play overseas absolutely doesn’t mess up your schedule and routine?

You are acting like NE blew out TEN because of Maye. He was sacked 4 times by that ass defence. Had a whopping 222 yards passing. Old Man Grey Stevenson had 88 yards rushing.

Chargers beat TEN by 7. Herbert had 250 yards passing, sacked 6 bloody times by that TEN defence is horrid. Only had 222 yards passing vs MIN. In a 14 point loss vs IND had 420 yards with 3 TD passes and 2 picks. In that 2 point win vs Miami had barely 260 yards with 2 TD’s.

You are acting like Herbert is the third coming of Christ and that the Chargers are stacked. Chargers were somehow picked over Denver not only to win division, but SB favourites lol.

They are 1 and done and went out in the most pathetic performance of the weekend….thus far

Pats weren’t more impressive either. Maye was sacked 4 times in that TEN game. Had only 222 yards passing with 2 TD’s. Stevenson had 88 yards rushing. NE 25 Saints 19. Again another game where Maye had barely 260 yards vs an inept defensive structure. That first gane against BUF 0 TD’s, 273 yards passing.

Herbert and Maye are not Peyton Manning. I am not sure why everyone glosses Herbert when he’s a complete choke artist. Maye made some bad plays yesterday against a defence that has absolutely nobody’s on it.

All we need is Bo to not turn the ball over, move the chains and we win. Our defence isn’t 2015 obviously but it is superior to Chargers and Patriots. Of the teams left alive I think only Houston measures up

Where to even begin with your comments lol. I’ll start on the other comment. Nowhere in my comment did I mention Drake Maye. I’ve said nothing about him to this point. My point has been the Patriots as a team. The defense has put up great results. You bring up the Titans, Maye absolutely was massive in that game, he threw for only 222 yards and 2 TD’s but he went 21/23. It was a nearly perfect game from him. There’s a reason he’s either first or second in the MVP race. Hes phenomenal and better than Nix. But More importantly, The Pats also got a defensive TD, forced two turnovers and rushed for 175 yards in that game. It was a dominant team win. You see that a lot this season from the Pats and the only question is how much of that is the schedule.

Now the Chargers, again we looked as bad as the Pats did last night when they sat all their best players to get healthy. You can say what you will about Herbert and how they were never a real threat but that also doesn’t change that they beat us in the one game we had against them that they played their starters.

Now your last point. I agree. We’re a better overall roster but QB play usually is the difference in this league this time of year. We’re spending all this time with the Pats when it’s a complete coin flip against Buffalo on Saturday. We should be favored in the next two games tho. If Bo plays like he did post bye I’ll love our chances. But take the orange and blue colored glasses off dude.

Won’t even bother with the rest of the diatribe after you state Maye is first or second in MVP voting lol.

It is Josh Allen or Matthew Stafford. Stafford was literally named first team All Pro ffs lmfao

Just gonna point out Josh Allen was second team all pro last year and won MVP. Maye, who is second team all pro this year, is the other guy in the race, not Allen. You’re the one who’s weirdly off on where Maye stands, not me

Mate is not MVP. Herbert is overrated asf. NE defence isn’t

Our defence allowed fewer yards passing than NE even though faced more passing attempts. Allowed fewer points against. Allowed fewer total yards against even though not only faced more passing attempts attempts, but total offensive plays ran against our boys and still outclassed NE who had the easiest schedule at 32nd strength of schedule lol.

You are going on and on about opponents, and the points we didn’t put up meanwhile Maye and NE put up more yet you aren’t talking about Maye

We had the 31st ranked SOS dude. Take the orange and blue glasses off man

  • This is arguably the best Defense the Patriots have played all season and they really struggled at times. I honestly think the chargers defense gave up in the fourth quarter.

I believe it was 2 fumbles and an INT by Maye. I felt they let Charger’s offense hang around waaaaayyy too long. We are talking about the worst o-line in the league.

2 fumbles but only one resulted in a turnover. I think chargers defense just got gassed after their offense failed to do anything for 4 quarters.

i dont think the chargers defense gave up, as much as they literally had nothing to give anymore. they were completely gassed with how much they were on the field

Ha, how many times have we seen that post-Super Bowl 50? Hang around, hang around, hang around before finally letting go and the game flips late because our offense couldn’t do anything

Agreed they were on the field to much

  • We'll take the Pats. But gotta get through Buffalo. I think Houston will beat the Pats. Houston will be a bigger challenge

  • We go to the Super Bowl if we beat the Bills

AFC Championship game is setting up to be soft AF. Bills are the best team left besides us

The Bills get too much credit. This is not the same Bills team as in years past. I think the Chargers presented a tougher opponent for us, simply because they're a divisional opponent, they know us too well, and this would have been the third time we played them this year. Houston would have been the worst draw, we barely beat them with their backup QB. They're going to send Aaron Rodgers into retirement tomorrow and are the last team NE wanted to play.

Yeah, I like not facing the Chargers. We had way too much trouble with a Herbertless team. Bills will be tough, but they had a tough game this week, and Allen is up against the best D in the league. If Bo can put up a couple of touchdowns we got this all day.

Yeah not buying the hype. We beat them at home not playing our best football.

I don't know Im rooting for Steelers or the dead bodies of Houston to win.

Bills are Josh Allen. Jacksonville had chances to keep drives alive/score but didn’t. There were spots where the Bills kept a drive alive because Jags inability to stop Allen from getting a long run. Our defence is superior

I’d argue the Bills are the weakest of the teams left. Their WR group is thin as fuck and their defense is pretty mid. Josh Allen is the x-factor.

The pats are solid all around and Houston is similar to us in the sense that we both have top tier defenses with inconsistent offensive play.

    You’re crazy.

Pats looked like the best team in the AFC. Maye won’t make those mistakes again, and their defense was smothering. Their D line looked a lot better with the guys they got back from injury.

If the Broncos can beat the bills this week, the pats can easily beat them.

Unflaired burner account who keeps their history hidden, that’s sad behavior

Dude saying there Dline looked better when they played against the 32nd ranked Oline in the league 🤣🤣🤣 I'd certainly hope they did

  • They just praised the patriots for "growing up" before our eyes haha.

  • If we win in a low scoring game next week nobody will dismiss it.

Fact of the matter is we have to prove it, and we have the perfect opponent to prove it against.

We win, everyone recognizes whats happening is real. If this game looks like last year, they'll get to say they were right.

  • Well I hope for a repeat of the 2015 championship run.

DEN vs. NE in Mile high.

We will f*** them.. One can only hope

That's one game too close for them. I can't abide the Patriots and having them that close to an SB is too much for me.

  • Can y'all stop hinging our success on whether or not the media and other fans accept it or not? We're doing good and we have a bright future. Just enjoy our team's success. Who gives a shit what anyone else thinks. They're losers anyway. #1.

  • You just never know how the game will progress and what strategy to use. I think Denver has the tools to use the necessary strategy

One of SP's strength, is he finds ways to win the game in front of him. Yeah sure there's ideal, dream scenario's, and then things go sideways and you have to make adjustments. He is very good at making adjustments and using what he has to find a win to win a game.

  • I don’t know man. A low scoring game in the playoffs isn’t like a low scoring game of playing a team that’s not good or has their backups in like last week. This one was intense too.

That being said, I’d love to see our Broncos come out fired up and just put belt to ass on the Bills. Now a win really is a win because there’s no tomorrow.

Not sure Herbert is healthy, we may have done just as good with him in and used a second page and beyond of the play call sheet

  • God you guys are so fucking weird.

    Get outta here, snail

How is that weird? The AFC goes through Denver and it’s a fact Denver has been criticized all season for low-scoring games…
