Hey all - I understand that much of this subs attention is focused towards more important issues (rightfully so), so I hope this isn't too untimely or insensitive, but I'm hoping to garner some suggestions from the community.
I'm an ambassador for a Sober Golf organization called Soba Golf. It's a community for people who are sober, sober-curious, or focused on wellness and who share a love for the game of golf.
I'm planning to host our first golf event this Spring, and I'm looking for local small businesses as potential sponsors. This isn't a huge event, so the sponsor dollar amounts are relatively small, but I'd like the sponsors to be on-board with the sober/recovery/wellness theme. Doesn't have to be a publicly "sober" company, but thinking like health food, coffee shops, gyms/yoga studios, apparel companies, etc. - maybe some others that I'm not thinking about.
Any ideas or recommendations are welcome and appreciated!
Maybe look at The Phoenix, they’re a fitness focused recovery space. https://thephoenix.org/
Yes, thank you! I'm actively involved with The Phoenix. Great organization!
Why not push for sponsors that actually have money, like PERA or Xcel or KP. Small businesses are struggling to pay their rent and employees.
I’d rather give small businesses the opportunity to get their name out via a community event than have this be some kind of corporate sponsored event. Sponsorship money would be helpful for running the event, but it’s also supposed to benefit the company too.
