Loaded a save state in Silph Co. but most of the buttons aren’t working anymore, the game doesn’t seem to be forzen as the music is still playing and an npc is walking back and forth like normal. Restarting the app, my phone, and saving a new state and loading it did not fix it:
The buttons that are still working are L, R, and Menu, everything else is a no.

I would’ve likely just reset by now but my last save is a lot further back than I remember it being so that’s ideally a last resort.
Try saving through the game menu. And then load it (without save state) See if this helps
Do you mean making a save state in the delta menu then not loading it? Because if you mean the firered menu (‘start’) that’s one of the buttons I cant click.
No he means load the save state and save the game through the in game menu. Save states are really only useful when you go a shiny hunting in Pokémon imo.
As they don’t change shines odds on each screen load.
I would also turn off all your master codes before saving too but if you can’t then save with the basic ones on. Turn off infinite ball ones.
Ah yeah I can’t save, the ‘start’ button is not usable as of right now.
Deactivate all your master codes. Reboot the rom and try that.
Have you used cheats at all?
Many, but at this moment? Not for a little while, actually don’t think I did once during my time in Saffron.
I found as soon as I start using cheats I experience this issue. Because I also froze on Fire Red lol
Were you able to fix it? If the game itself or even all the buttons had stopped working I would assume there’s no solution but it doesn’t seem fully broken
I couldn’t fix it and ended up having to restart. I just broke the game 🥲
Go to the main menu - settings and check to see if you are still player one that may affect it
If that isn’t it, it may be the skins you are using, change it to the default skin and see if it works.
Just checked, I’m still player one. Also tried swapping the skin and that didn’t work. It seems to be just this specific save state as just restarting the game to my last in game save works just fine.
