What was said in the post isn't exactly difficult. I'm not "anti-consumist" as they put it, but last film or show I watched was probably from 2020 and I play games from 2011 or older. Simply because there hasn't been need for new content. We had 2-3 decades of the entertainment industry booming in ways that still hold up today, so that saturated the market for me.
The issue lies in the overall quality, not whether the content is AI-created or AI-assisted. I also havenāt been drawn to recent content when nothing stands out to catch my attention. Viewed that way, it feels perfectly normal.
i mean honestly, a preference, no? like had they just said said i wanna consume only pre-2023 content, no one would say anything negative, but with the addition of AI, it's somehow sad and pathetic?
like i a lot of the times say i only wanna consume pre-covid content, because, to me, it feels like there has been a dilution in quality of things, since after the pandemics, but that is just my preference, no?
