The reason why I wanted to share this is because this is the 2nd time that I have seen someone who actually knows what their doing. They know how to edit shots together and not have it be jarring and it isn't a sloppy job.

  • Yeah, I'm going to need information. What's the author name? AI technology that was used? Techniques/prompt examples as well?

Nanobanana for the imagery. This video might be using nanobanana 1 but I don't know. The sounds effect and the music are added in post. So I don't think he's using Sora. As for the animation, probably WAN 2.1. Maybe WAN 2.2. He made comments on twitter about wanting to use VACE in the future. So I assume everything on his end animation wise is i2v local.

Nano for the pictures and maybe Kling 2.6 because their fight scenes have really improved.

i can see it being wan actually they are cut in the perfect places to not show the jank and such. this is beautiful editing of ai. just a bit of jank in swinging but even then its done well considering how iconic spiderman swinging is. thats the only thing that gives it away really

PsyoAnime is the author. Idk what ai was used or prompts.

  • Very impressive! Definitely a talented person behind this

  • I wonder what model they utilized for this

  • That can’t all be ai? That’s crazy good!

it is, why wouldn't it be?

  • What is the name of the AI used for this?

  • Better than opm S3

  • Keep it up boys we’re almost there

  • This is GREAT.
It does have a lot of jump cuts which I think are the main indicator of AI's current limits in this format. I get that it's a trailer-- most of them make sense from an editorial perspective, but I'd love to see a clean camera sweep from SM on defense with a clear visual pivot to SM on offense. But still, 8/10 hope it doesn't fall apart in a non-trailer format where you may want more continuity.

edit: on rewatch, the lines are also likely AI. Not awful, but tropey full of AI fluff "I can't shake the feeling" being a line LLMs love, and this also makes me question how good a more full release could be, so maybe 7.5. Again, it's a trailer, so maybe part of this is fixed with proper funding and proper writers.

  • As a huge spider man fan I find this to be pretty freaking amazing! Of course the police radio thingy being in english while the rest being in japanese kinda weird but ya know what... I'll take it!

  • I do like the aesthetics of the animation, and how they managed to keep the style consistent.

But the movement of the characters looks off, very floaty and no weight behind it. And I don't know if it's intentional, but while having the slideshow style animation for the fight scene can create some gorgeus snapshots, it does make for a poorly flowing scene.

The voice acting is fucking abysmal though, sounds like they reprogrammed Google Maps to dictate the dialogue :D

  • Found multiple mistakes,

1 in the first scenes classic ai hand generation of background characters is weird, the letters on the background neon lights are supposedly made to look blurry but in reality just look... Wrong 2 When Peter sits on the window, his "spider" is more like a... Beetle lmao, easy to spot and makes it look dumb 3 the helicopters being attacked at first look decorated with police colours, next it looks bland white when the scene changes. 4 again, you can realize it is ai based on multiple fast paced scenes, as well as the background being... Slop.

you anties are so sad bro I have nothing but pity for you

My friend, is this a kneejerk reaction? you and I can obviously tell thats fantastic. If those are the only Mistakes.... damn.

If I'm asked to treat ai as art, I expect the attention to detail actual artists use, especially when ai saves so much more time. But that's just me, feel free to disagree.

It's hard not to disagree, I mean, look at it. It's phenomenal.

I understand the beauty, but visible mistakes show a missing level of care for me, that is essential for artistic creation. If I draw a hand, I make sure it looks as perfect as I can, if I draw Spiderman's back spider symbol, I make it a spider, not a beetle. Because I care for my work. We all appreciate art differently, some people like flashy more, some like attention to detail more.

Is that not just taste dressed up as virtue? Taste isn’t virtue. It’s preference.
