Both can be shit at the same time, it's not that deep. But if you're also going to ignore the shit game experience and not heed the lag that has always been present then your judgement is also lacking.
Personally I haven't had any issues on PS5 Pro or Series X regarding driving since they updated the code with Arma stuff. Experience could vary I assume but seems like a skill issue 🤷♂️

It's well known that you lag in specific areas. If you're barreling down the road when a lag spike hits, and you do nothing, then expect to get fucked.
Lord. Something similar happened to me, randomly collided with an invisible rock near the edge of a road, somehow destroyed both back tires and ruined the car itself lmao
If it makes you feel any better, that was the exact same scenario in a vehicle over 9 years ago. Nice to know they have made adjustments and fixes to cars and their handling.
I havnt played in 5 yrs (apperently I love watching you guys) the vehicles were a death sentence then. Im glad that in over half a decade that nothing has changed
Still much better than it used to be. Also not sure but my buddy was always complaining about lag and glitch. Ended up he had dayz on an external drive. Once he moved it over to the internal drive it helped a lot
I play PS5 not Xbox, but I will say this. I found that I had the game stored on an HDD external USB hard drive and moved it to the internal SDD storage and it made a huge difference driving. In addition to that, I ran a CAT-6 LAN cable hard wired to the PS5 and it improved slightly more. I still have a bit of lag sometimes around towns and such, but so that it's manageable. I very rarely lag out and hit things such as shown in your video, and I play primarily on a heavily modded (custom bases and poi areas) community server.

If you lag, hit a weird patch on the road, hit a tiny bump or divot in the road somewhere around 55-60 it can cause you to slide, when you slide it forces you to slide for a few seconds every time so be aware
Imma be real homie, driving in third gear not only into but through a town is dangerous as hell, clearly. I love this game but in JankZ you gotta slow roll towns

Need to adjust your rear wing setup. Too much rear downforce will make the front end squirrelly

I'll agree, I've experienced less bugs in a first person perspective than I do in Third.
Door won't open? Switch to first and it will. Car stuck on something? Switch to first and it is no longer.
