I think you have to change a privacy setting, which shuts off other people's voices. Or record externally

They haven't played Sakhal enough. It is almost strictly PVP these days unless you go Mr.Rogers neighborhood and then they will still backstab you quick for food and water. Sakhal is a bitter mistress. Plus, it's an island so the spawns are so close together anyway everyone is a freshie unless you get to the military checkpoint land bridge.
