Hello, I am a 24 year old looking to move to Danville to work at Geisinger health as a nurse. I am not really a city nightlife person, but am a little concerned with how rural Danville is. Are there surrounding areas that you would recommend I look at for a younger population? I am from Georgia so I am a little concerned about making friends. Thanks for any insight.
I can explain the confusion. This sub is for Danville, CA (where a neighboring town is named Dublin). Looks like Geisinger Health is in Danville, PA?
Wishing you all the best in your move.
As a younger person without kids and a family you will have a much easier time making friends in Walnut Creek while maintaining a short commute.
Oh, youre going to enjoy Danville, there is a ton to do in the area! There are tons of hiking paths, events and niche spaces. I feel like the key is to figure out things you like or want to do (Makerspaces? Board games? Hiking? Music? Climbing?) Whatever you find to be interesting/exciting, search for groups or places to do those things. Enjoy yourself and the area and as you do things you like, you're most likely be in the best place/position to meet and make friends! I've moved around my whole life and I feel like my most lasting relationships were found this way.
danville va?
It is a sleepy town. have you explode Dublin
No, like Ireland?
The Guinness may be good, but too long of a commute. Look for something closer.
I think you have me a little confused lol
