We are a family of 5 (3 boys 6 & under) and are looking to move from Oakland to Danville/San Ramon area. We’re not too familiar with either city but really like what we hear about SRVUSD. Ideally, we’d want to move to a neighborhood with lots of other young families that our boys could grow up with. Anybody have any thoughts on which neighborhoods have a greater number of young families moving in?

Sorry, I replied to my own post vs this one 🤦🏽♂️

Good to know we need to avoid Blackhawk 😜 How old are your kids? If they’re in school already, how has your experience generally been? Any thoughts on Danville vs San Ramon w/ respect to schools and community?
Why no Blackhawk? Message was deleted and I’m very curious.
Danville is a very cute!! When I relocated to the Bay Area I worked with Suburban Jungle. They made the process easier and provided so much information on neighborhoods etc... it's a free resource worth checking out. Good Luck! https://suburbanjunglegroup.com/?utm_source=bd&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=104
We are also looking in Danville/Alamo and would love to hear feedback on where younger families live. Does the Blackhawk area (Hidden Oaks, etc) have a good amount of families?
The areas with newer houses tend to attract families with younger kids. Almo Creek, Monterosso, and Wednt Ranch feeds into creekside elementary. Lots of young families and kids.
Let’s say 2.5MM… but really, just curious about parts of town that have a great %-age of families with young kids moving in vs more “established” neighborhoods that may be past the kids in school phase of life

Thank you for the very detailed response. We will definitely check out those neighborhoods. Any color on which neighborhoods have more young families moving in? I’m sure that’s tough to gauge unless you’re in the real estate business.
Every state has a Danville.
