I second this. Every time I go into highland Park I always end up with Christmas lights behind me. Really brings home the holidays.
Is Swiss Avenue still a thing? I have been in decades, but I have memories of the houses there all being decorated.
Park Cities is your best bet. With the weather so warm I would totally recommend riding a bicycle to see the lights. You are not stuck in traffic and can stop/turn around whatever. Makes for a 3x better experience. Easy ride from Katy Trail.
Interlochen, deerfield, and tucker hill have been the best neighborhoods I’ve seen. Watch out for the long line leading into Interlochen, you need to be early else you’ll be waiting for hours to enter.
Highland Park and Preston Hollow, start south of Mockingbird and move up as you go.
