Rockwall to keller. 540lb gun safe needing moved. Does anybody have recommendations on someone you've used before? Thank you! 58" tall 35" wide. Single story easily accessed in both homes.

  • Don’t use All My Sons. Overpriced and terrible. Broke my TV and Bed Frame, both different times.

I'll add, one of their movers took a leak in the parking lot of my building. Broad daylight

They tore a huge chunk out of my memory foam mattress and left it in a way that I couldn’t see it until they were gone. They also took the feet off my TV and then lost the screws so I couldn’t put them back on.

  • Einstein moving company 1000%

Second Einstein! I’ve used them twice to move around DFW and had a great experience

Add in a third for Einstein - we've used them exclusively for the past 5-6 years and they've been incredible every time.

They moved us into our current house and did great with a ton of heavy, awkward, weird sized furniture.

    10/10

4th. Have used many companies over the years but used Einstein on our last into this home and they were the best we've ever used.

    Why specifically?

They are the best moving company i have encountered in the DFW. I've moved 6 times, and the best most seamless move was with Einstein. The movers actually take care to cover your door frames, and lay down a moving rug so they don't mark up your floors. It's the little details they cover, and the movers take special attention to care for your belongings. Especially if they are fragile. They are the best moving company I have encountered. If I move again, they will be the company I choose to move with.

Also take note that with any moving company....you will need to unload the gun safe. They do not move guns, but will move the empty safe

Do they make you open the safe as proof?

Yes, they do. It's a liability thing. Some employees may be prohibited from handling firearms. The insurance company that covers the moving company will drop them if found out that they did move ammunition and weapons. It's usually listed in their insurance coverage of things they will not cover and things they prohibit. It's too much legality and risk involved for an insurer to cover. If an employee steals a weapon, loses a weapon, the moving truck is robbed, etc. You start heading into federal & state rules/territory. Not worth it. Now there are specialized companies that do move weapons and ammo with all sorts of background checks done on their employees. There is a bunch of paperwork behind that, and checks on the weapons that have to be made before they move them for you. Regular moving companies don't usually have the insurance/ capacity for it

We've used Einstein twice and can concur. If we ever move somewhere that Einstein doesn't serve, I'll have a sad.

  • Not red tux

  • AB Moving. I've used them 5 times and not a single problem.

Used them twice. Well priced. Communicate effectively. Zero issues.

  • King Moving Company 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

  • we used two men and a truck and they were far better than other corporate movers we’ve had. very careful with things and patient to unload things exactly where we wanted and setup rugs and big furniture appropriately

  • Cecil. He's got his own truck.

  • Fantastic Movers. Used to work for them great owners/company.

  • I used Wrightway Moving recently. It was good service and affordable.

  • Used AB Moving twice and they were great & fast. Probably will use them again.

  • We’ve used All My Sons three times and had good luck. I know they get a bad rep, so YMMV

  • Groovin Move-In Moving Company. Small business, locally owned. Very reliable and trustworthy. You won’t get hit with the high overhead costs that other large companies pass onto you.

  • Midnight Hour Moving

They used to rent large plastic moving boxes too that were super convenient and affordable.

  • Used apple moving and they were nice because you get the price in advance. You itemize exactly what you are going to have moved and they charge a flat rate per item.
