Hi I don’t know if this is the place to ask, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some surgeon recommendations for a breast reduction in the DFW area. If anyone got one in the past few years and had a really good experience, I’d really appreciate a recommendation, thanks!
Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute has excellent doctors. Dr Hubbard is great but there is also a fellowship program there that is under his direction that is wonderful.
Came here for this - concur
Dr. Shelby Lies at UT Southwestern. He did mine a year ago and I am so happy with his work
Dr. Shelby is my suggestion as well.
Not op, but I'm also planning on a reduction next year and have a referral from within UTSW. I was already leaning toward going with them because it just seemed easier with all my medical records in one place. Could I ask...did you use insurance? If so, did they help you navigate that whole thing?
My friend got hers done at UTSW (Dr. Ali) and covered by insurance.
I did use insurance. With my consultation, they took pictures and worked it out with my insurance. Dr. Lies knows what to include in the write up for insurance.
Dr. Ben Tittle. Won’t find anyone better. He’s also known for being one that fixes surgeries that went wrong by other docs. https://plasticsurgeryoftexas.com/ I’ve had breast reduction (keyhole procedure) and blepharoplasty done by him. I would have to tell someone though, because both are done so well, you can’t tell there was surgery for either.
His name cracks me up.
He did mine too about 10 years ago. He was great.
Dr Nicolas Haddock at UTSW is one of the best breast reconstruction surgeons in the country. He specializes in flap surgeries - taking tissue from different parts of the body to create breasts after mastectomy. He’s a freaking miracle worker. He also does amazing oncoplastic reductions and reconstruction after lumpectomy. He’s created groundbreaking new ways of doing some surgeries including robotic reconstruction. He also does straight up plastic surgeries too. It’s probably a long wait to see him if you don’t have cancer but 100% worth it. On his website there’s a lot of before & after pics of different surgeries.
** I’m a 2 time BC survivor and a patient advocate for mostly BC patients. I’ve seen a lot of breast reconstruction from a lot of different surgeon’s in the area. The only surgeon that comes close to Dr Haddocks outcomes is his partner Dr Sumeet Teosia who is also amazing.
Wife just treated by Dr Haddock and I wholeheartedly agree
Had a BR recently with Dr William P Adams of University Park. All went well - and I liked both him and his staff.
Danielle LeBlanc in Fort Worth. She did my augmentation. So I went the other way. She does a great job. I loved having a female surgeon and considering the mess I started with I’m extremely pleased.
Dr Steven White is an amazing plastic surgeon. Check him out.
Dr. Gregg Anigian at Presbyterian did mine and he’s meticulous. Highly recommended.
Dr. Dulin at America Institufor Plastic Surgery. Top notch!
