Assuming you just want PACKAGED beers not just bottled?
Peticolas, Manhattan Project, Celestial, Intrinsic, Lakewood, Odd Muse, Martin House, Hop & Sting, Armor.
Places like Lakewood Growler & Thirsty Growler, you can get “crowlers” or growlers filled of various beers from tons of different breweries…if you don’t want to drive all over.
By packaged, I meant bottled or canned, as in a package to carry out, not only on draft. Although most breweries do have crowler machines so that you can get a 16- or 32-ounce crowler filled & sealed.
No particular reason. I like them, but they’re not one of my go-to or favorites. With the exception of MH & H&S, I was trying to keep it Dallas-side. But also would suggest False Idol & Turning Point if driving isn’t an issue.
Does it have to be bottled? I love Lakewood Growler and they can help you select a Growler or a smaller size if you prefer. Everyone there is knowledgeable and can help you pick something
Not local to Dallas but I think the best German / euro style craft beer is Alstadt out of central TX. You can find it pretty much everywhere around Dallas (Central Market, Whole Foods). For IPAs, I would go for Tupps Juice Pack (based in McKinney, literally everywhere) or Everything Rhymes with Orange (brewery in OK, typically I find in Whole Foods). For more experimental / strong IPAs etc I would check out Celestial Brewing closer to downtown (best variety going to the brewery, but some in Central Market).
Go to Celestial right now. Deals on random bottles of barrel aged stouts.

I don’t mind single bottles if they’re good and creative and would make a good gift. Doesn’t have to be packaged.

Current tap list for Lakewood Growler. You could go in and get a handful of crowlers from different breweries and not have to drive all over.

Very few craft breweries use glass bottles these days. Nearly everything is canned.
That’s what I was thinking. I like manhattan brewery but I haven’t seen them in bottles in store.
Check out Lonestar Beverage
White Rock Brewing has a great selection, and their mothership White Rock Ale House usually has a few selections in their fridge.
Surprised 3 Nations didn’t make your list.
Any particular reason?

False Idol is the premium version of 3 Nations if I’m not mistaken. They usually have unique brews.
Odd Muse is a real solid spot too, but you had a great list so I was curious if there was some negative reason you didn’t include 3 nations.
Cheers brother!
Edit - Whoops, I mixed up Symbol Brewing with False Idol. Both good brews though, felt the need to edit though. Cheers nonetheless haha.
Lone Star Beverages has a fun variety of single bottles/cans to select from

That’ll work!
For beer retailers rather than breweries, I think that the Whole Foods park lane, Pogos, and Central Market have the best curated selection
Celestial is the best fruity IPA maker in the US. They have good stouts too. Manhattan is good too

Four Bullets Brewery over in Richardson.
