Anyone else remember when Tom Brady's teammate* was walking with him when he was really drunk after the Super Bowl and a reporter tried to ask Tom Brady a question? And Tom swerved like he was gonna answer the question then his teammate steered him away and had him keep walking?
I love that clip and this reminded of it.
*sorry I don't know football. I am sure that Teammate is also famous and has a name
Yes. In my memory, Tom made more of a lunge for the person with the mic, and had to be redirected more forcefully. But still, that's a great bro. He was definitely keeping him from saying anything on mic. Looks like not a player...maybe a coach or athletic director?
A few years before this video, the Patriots had a defensive player named Jarvis Green. On the same team, they had a running back name Ben-Jarvis Green-Ellis. How is it possible that a teammates full name appeared as the 2nd first name and 1st-last name of a teammate? How? This seems wholly impossible.
I had something similar happen to me at a party. I was standing on a wall at a college party and these girls were passing by. One started to come towards me to make an advance and her friend grabbed her and whisked her away lol. At first I thought "what the hell, lame". But if her friend thought she was too smashed to make smart decisions, that's just a good friend. I didn't even see her long enough to really understand anything going on with any depth.
His son’s condition can cause reduced spacial awareness. Not sure if that’s a symptom he has, but if so, Walz is probably used to being aware of what his son may bump into and avoiding it.
Can’t confirm his symptoms, but this is a natural human instinct if you’re holding hands with anyone you care for who is about to walk into an obstruction. Add in experience and otherwise… can you imagine if he walked into it and Walz didn’t do anything?
Yeah I do this to keep my kid from stepping in dog shit or getting dripped on by mystery juice (tell me you live in nyc without telling me you live in nyc)
And on certain streets, just keeping my kid out of arms reach for a sucker punch from a mentally unstable person. No shame on them but they can be unpredictable sometimes
My brother has severe autism (nonverbal) and I have to do shit like this all the time to keep him from running into things lol. Warmed my heart seeing Walz with a similar situation
You know what that tells me? Walz is a great father. This is a man who has empathy and understanding and a willingness to adjust his actions for the joy of spending time with his son despite his special needs, maybe even because of them. This is who we want as a leader.
As someone who easily gets frazzled when things get a little hectic. I’m impressed he was able to focus on that while on stage with all the chaos around him
I did a quick google, It says the kid has something called Non-verbal learning disorder. Which basically means among other things he's got problems with things that aren't verbal or litteral.
My sister was actually diagnosed with "non-verbal learning disability" when she was a child (and actually, believe it or not, the dialogue about Gus Walz is the first time I've ever heard it talked about other than in my family). And I agree: it's a very poorly named disorder. Especially because "nonverbal" and "non-verbal" are two extremely different concepts that are easily confused in this context, and because we already have a name for an intellectual disability that affects people's ability to read non-verbal cues: autism.
FWIW, upon my insistence, my sister just a few months ago (at 34) was finally officially diagnosed as autistic. So while I can't speak to Gus Walz' diagnosis, I think the venn diagram of non-verbal learning disability/autism has a huge overlap.
I have a brain injury that makes special awareness tough for me too, and my boyfriend has learned to remind me to duck or watch out for something overhead. It’s the ultimate love language to me, and it’s endearing to see it in Tim’s relationship with his son. So simple and so mindful.
Ah yes, let’s see who’s more likely to be a shitty father.
-A former teacher/football coach who had fertility problems and didn’t even know if he’d be able to have children. Who has posted videos online of things like going to amusement parks and having fun with his daughter. And whose son broke down in tears when his dad talked about how much he loved him.
-A narcissistic billionaire real estate mogul who’s never seemingly shown an ounce of genuine affection to his wife or children in public.
People looking at car accidents is the number one cause of traffic jams in the United States. It is your patriotic duty to mind your own goddamn business and keep driving.
Well look at it this way, if they're trying to pick apart minut facial expressions as a judge of character instead of the blatantly crazy things their chosen candidate says that means they're scrambling to find a defect.
I'm obviously not saying the Democratic nominees are perfect in any way but you know if Tim and JD Vance were switched they would have quite a bit to say.
Yeah I read that "His is a psychopath" comment and laughed so hard. Those people's psychopathic radar detection systems are clearly calibrated incorrectly.
No they really do think she’s a woman, she qualified for the whore treatment, they say the only reason she’s been successful is that she spends 8 hours a day on her knees. It’s what they’ve said since 2020 and you’ll be seeing it slip more openly in their discourse going forward. I don’t know if it’s just bots but there’s people who believe whatever they read and those are the people who truly thought Joe Biden couldn’t have won the 2020 election because he’d literally spent the last months locked in a basement- literally! So yeah Kamala is out there painted as the whore of Babylon. I’ve seen her passive aggressively called cute, too. They hate her, but they’re conflicted.
It's bad enough they tried to make up lies about his service record. Calling someone a child abuser is one of the most disgusting lies I can imagine. Those people are utterly shameless.
And the relationship they have with their kids as they approach adulthood says a LOT. I can't really tell based on perspective what the deal is with the teleprompter in this clip, but I sure as shit could see how overwhelmed with pride Gus was when Gov. Walz name checked him, FLoM Walz, and Hope.
That Walz family is wholesome AF, and I'd bet my bottom dollar that Walz is a 1% level dad.
Sure, but do you have the stones to endure the withering “how could you let this happen to me look” they give you when they have to learn it for themselves?
Yeah conservatives are known for fake news. Like that one time where DT had his eyes closed during a prayer, and everyone tried to spin it as if he was falling asleep.
That wasn't conservatives, though I do think that was your point. It was indeed fake news there, which is bad on all sides, but the side that speaks about fake news and the media, often shares more fake news and overall false info than the other, by a margin
What's hilarious is the number of dumbasses on twitter trying to pass this off as "Waltz abuses his kids". They really are grasping at the tiniest of straws now.
Watch the right be like “you see the way walz gently pulled on his sons arm to save him from hurting himself, yeah I guess I always knew that guy was an abuser.”
I am a conservative. Usually an argumentative one. Kids are off limits. Hunter Biden is fair game but kids like these are off limits for me. We should have some decency as a society.
But WHY is Hunter fair game? He’s not an elected official, he doesn’t have anything to do with government. He happens to be the presidents son but has zero influence on policy and tends to avoid politics.
His crime seems to be dealing with his depression with drugs instead of therapy and having a big dick that Margie Green desperately wants to ride.
I'll preface this by saying I mostly don't give a fuck, especially since Joe is no longer the nominee, but:
Why is Hunter fair game? He never held a public office and there's zero evidence he was ever the evil corrupting influence on his father the internet claimed he was. The GOP investigated him for years and didn't come up with anything but the gun form thing. I'm sure many thousands of people lie on that form and never face charges for it. (How many potheads do you know who own guns? I know a lot.) Getting nailed with prison time for it seems kind of unfair, but then again he also rode his last name to a life of cushy, well-paid jobs and doing a few months in the slammer isn't going to kill him.
I’m autistic, have adhd and spacial awareness issues is a very real thing. Especially in overstimulating environments. If it weren’t for the people who care about me in my life my ass would straight up walk into a stop sign or in front of a car. I fucking wish I was joking lol. I constantly sport mystery bruises just from doing shit around the house.
The fact that his daughter walks on the other side of the pole shows how close they all were. The spatial distances are so skewed with a telephoto lens so I didn’t quite understand where the teleprompter was.
I may not like the guy politically, but I respect this. He clearly loves his son, even in a high tension time when he could be otherwise distracted, he was still mindful of his son.
Nice forced perspective, but no. There are multiple other clips where you can see the son is nowhere near that prompter, and more importantly, the look on Walz's face when he yanks on his arm.
Was really hoping to see someone call out this false narrative and was happy to find your comment. Close ups of his face tell you everything you need to know without even needing verification on the teleprompter’s actual location. Really trying to force political narratives in every sub at this point. Will be so glad when the election year ends.
It seems like the sister was walking with her brother. Yet, the brother walks behind the teleprompter and the sister walks in front of it. Can you explain why that is?
You can sit there and stomp your feet and whine 'source?' all you want. I don't care. We BOTH know the footage exists, and we both know a simple Google search will find it.
How Large do people think teleprompeters are? LOL. Its forced perspective, they were no where near the teleprompter. If that was the case his sister must be a ghost who can walk though teleprompters lol
didn't realize how serious some people would take this. it's just a fun little thing without any Jesus implications at all. have no idea how this post indicates that
Nah…that face isn’t one of concerned father helping a child…it’s one of anger and should be concerning. If the teleprompter was a problem, his daughter would’ve had to swerve around it and she barely moved as she stepped next to them for the wave.
I was with my gfs sister and she has two kids. I caught their youngest two times today by sheer accident, sometimes you see things they don’t, sometimes neither of you see it coming and they eat shit… here’s my issue with it, the republicans are gonna find a way to connect him crying and him almost running into this thing as some sort of stupid thing…
I’m a republican, and im worried they are gonna do this… its a shitty world we live in
Anyone else remember when Tom Brady's teammate* was walking with him when he was really drunk after the Super Bowl and a reporter tried to ask Tom Brady a question? And Tom swerved like he was gonna answer the question then his teammate steered him away and had him keep walking?
I love that clip and this reminded of it.

Yes. In my memory, Tom made more of a lunge for the person with the mic, and had to be redirected more forcefully. But still, that's a great bro. He was definitely keeping him from saying anything on mic. Looks like not a player...maybe a coach or athletic director?
That’s the third stringer I think, Ryan Griffin
The dog from Family Guy?? Holy shit I need to get into football
Anyway, that’s football sometimes.
I always thought Lamarcus Aldridge was one of the best NBA players cause when you say his name out loud you also say Marc Gasol, another NBA great.
The one time I go to Benihana I saw Lamarcus Aldridge and Steve Blake were out having dinner together. Very sweet.
This just blew my mind.
The Bears and Vikings both had a RB named Adrian Peterson at the same time sometime in the 2000s
In the video where he doesn’t lunge at anybody?
Hence why he said “in my memory” in the first words of the post…
Then there's Tim Duncan with Aron Baynes after a Game 7 match.
I love Tim Duncan. He was a great Spur player and had class
Tim Duncan was the Barry Sanders of the NBA. Quiet with elite production. Never a showboat never stupidly emotional. Just dominated with class.
Man Baynes was so good, such a shame he basically got medically retired from the NBA right after developing a killer 3pt shot.
Haha it would’ve been the first time the media had witnessed Brady drunk. His PR team was all over him that day.
I need to see it to remember what it’s like to have bros as an adult. Please link.
I think this is the clip they're talking about
https://youtu.be/VkqKUB9vngM?si=vpq6NY_KhEkPl6RS
Huh I was under the impression Tom like never drank
Exactly, so he was probably shitfaced af after a couple drinks
I think he’s allowed to break his personal rule after winning the Super Bowl
Unmmmmm what
That teleprompter is a government plant, using new Democrat technology to phase in front of Tim's son's arm.
Edit: Found a better quality vid. It doesn't phase through, it is in front. Still a government plant though.
They really should just buy some ferns to use as government plants, instead of teleprompters.
(This made me chuckle and shake my head)
Some people are saying that this is the same teleprompter that took out Trump's ear.
Didn’t get to the end of your comment and was like “oh that’s nyc parenting”. Add random delivery biker on the sidewalk zipping through people.
And on certain streets, just keeping my kid out of arms reach for a sucker punch from a mentally unstable person. No shame on them but they can be unpredictable sometimes
Has that happened?? To you or someone you know? That’s so awful
Definitely looks like a move that’s been done many times before
My brother has severe autism (nonverbal) and I have to do shit like this all the time to keep him from running into things lol.
I’m impressed he was able to focus on that while on stage with all the chaos around him
What's the condition?
I did a quick google, It says the kid has something called Non-verbal learning disorder. Which basically means among other things he's got problems with things that aren't verbal or litteral.
I looked at this article: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/everyday-neurodiversity/202408/what-is-a-non-verbal-learning-disability
Wow that really is a terrible name for the condition, completely misleading.
Thanks for the great article!
My sister was actually diagnosed with "non-verbal learning disability" when she was a child (and actually, believe it or not, the dialogue about Gus Walz is the first time I've ever heard it talked about other than in my family). Yeah I want to know too
He has ADHD, an anxiety disorder, and a nonverbal learning disorder.

Heck, I’m 48 and I hit plenty of things like that. Good move on TWalz.
I have a brain injury that makes special awareness tough for me too, and my boyfriend has learned to remind me to duck or watch out for something overhead. It’s the ultimate love language to me, and it’s endearing to see it in Tim’s relationship with his son. So simple and so mindful.
Yeah I've a kid with autism and dyspraxia. You have to have the spatial awareness for them.
According to twitter this video is proof Walz beats his kids behind closed doors.
It’s insane dude.
Ah yes, let’s see who’s more likely to be a shitty father.
-A former teacher/football coach who had fertility problems and didn’t even know if he’d be able to have children. -A narcissistic billionaire real estate mogul who’s never seemingly shown an ounce of genuine affection to his wife or children in public.
I'd argue there's one child in particular he has shown quite a bit of affection to in public...
Donald Trump wishes he was a billionaire and all his kids are probably the result of rapes. Conservatives are disgusting freaks.
W h a t
[deleted]
Yeah, but then I’d have to go to the Trump sub and fuck that.
[deleted]
I’ve done it before and I’m good. I put child locks on my aging mother’s cable box to get away from that shit.
It's more like watching a nuclear plant meltdown. You watch it with dread and horor and wonder, how could it get to this?
Only after the bodies have been removed.. no one simply wants to be traumatized
I stopped looking at those subs a while ago because they just made me sad.
I would never.
People looking at car accidents is the number one cause of traffic jams in the United States. It is your patriotic duty to mind your own goddamn business and keep driving.
Checkmate, I’m already on several lists!.. 😭
yeah saw that yesterday as I follow a few of their subs to see what crazy shit they say.
They said stuff like "Look at his face...it is the clear face of rage and an abuser. He is a psychopath"
I appreciate this, but I'm done worrying about their weird shit.
It wasn’t just conservatives. Lots of liberals on Twitter were in an uproar on Twitter that this evidence that he’s abusive
They also claimed that Kamala is going to impose forced abortions, so don't listen to anything on truth social.
They also think Kamala is a man. Its like they think it is impossible for a woman to be powerful
Any woman they don’t approve of is a man now. It’s one of the newer symptoms of their derangement.
When they ask me which of her policies I stand with, it’s forced abortions 🤣
Every accusation is a confession
Every conservative subreddit is saying the same thing. These people are the weirdest, dumbest fucking people on earth.
Fox entertainment “news” reporting it the same way too
Dude I got it from my cousin too
It's bad enough they tried to make up lies about his service record. Calling someone a child abuser is one of the most disgusting lies I can imagine. Those people are utterly shameless.
Totally magats sense now. His son was crying during his speech thinking of his dad shouting and and laughing while beating him.
Projection.
You can tell the character of a human based on how they treat children and animals.
It's no wonder the Trumpists hate him so much already. Half their kids aren't talking to them and the other half are waiting for them to keel over.
Kristi Noem has left the chat
to take the dog for a walk
I eat animals.
I saw this bit live and wondered why he yanked him over. I didn't see the teleprompter.
Walz didn't even look towards the prompter.
10/10 peripheral sight & awareness
Big dad energy from that man
My dad made this move once to keep me from falling through a skylight when I was 17
It was a very good year.
Dad?
Now do it with America, Tim. Save us from ourselves.
Dad, Coach, Chad
Coach America
Walz is like the wholesome tv dad we all need at a crazy moment like this.
I totally agree with that. Like even if I didn’t agree with his politics. This is just soothing to watch a kind man in action lol
He’s the perfect positive antidote to all the toxic masculinity out there.
Walz*
Looked like he was ducking on his own accord
The conservatives are losing their mind over this saying he's abusing his son what the fuck
I can't love that man more. I know exactly how that move works. Been there back in the day.
They only learn if they whack it though
Sure, but do you have the stones to endure the withering “how could you let this happen to me look” they give you when they have to learn it for themselves?
They get plenty of those opportunities on their own time too.
He has a learning disability, and if he gets hurt, trying to calm him down might prove difficult.
The ‘Conservative’ subreddit had a still image and a bogus story about this. Thank you for providing real context
Wholesome moment.
Hahaha I’ve given my kids that same tug.
coming up on FOX News: "How this is bad news for Kamala"
Learning about Gus’s disability, he must have been so overstimulated being in that arena.
Man, Walz is a good, good dude. The more I learn the more I like him
He's a good man.
and thorough.
Is this what republicans are saying is a violent jerk showing what a POS Walz is to his kids?
https://youtu.be/XbrSA4oY2DU?si=UDbBVXhI8EzpBo3k
Zoomed in on his face.. the artefacts make his face look angry in the post but this video clearly shows no frustration
way better than my gif
I am a conservative. Usually an argumentative one. Kids are off limits. Hunter Biden is fair game but kids like these are off limits for me. We should have some decency as a society.
Go say that in the conservative subs, let me know how fast the ban hammer gets swung.
Glad you feel that way, you're preaching to the choir here
But WHY is Hunter fair game? He’s not an elected official, he doesn’t have anything to do with government. He happens to be the presidents son but has zero influence on policy and tends to avoid politics.
His crime seems to be dealing with his depression with drugs instead of therapy and having a big dick that Margie Green desperately wants to ride.
Palestinian kids? Hope they are off limits too.
Baron was off limits too while he was killing cats and slapping the shit out of his nanny. Trump raises some great people huh
Oh yea it's real decent to be hateful a recovering addict
I'll preface this by saying I mostly don't give a fuck, especially since Joe is no longer the nominee, but:
Why is Hunter fair game? He never held a public office and there's zero evidence he was ever the evil corrupting influence on his father the internet claimed he was. The GOP investigated him for years and didn't come up with anything but the gun form thing. I'm sure many thousands of people lie on that form and never face charges for it. Is Barron fair game?
Lil' closer bud.
why is this like 5 fps? The video is all over the place on social media (for stupid reasons)
Boy, that could have been a paneful moment
Obviously, elect this man. US politics are a fucking joke. And I say this as a Martian.
I mean isn’t this what any normal father would do ? Possible VP or not ?
Wait, the right wing told me that this was evidence of him being an abusive father. I’m so confused now.
Good dads are good dads, nuf said.
So smooth, too.
Tim is such a goated dad.
That’s why they call it window pane
The fact that his daughter walks on the other side of the pole shows how close they all were. The spatial distances are so skewed with a telephoto lens so I didn’t quite understand where the teleprompter was.
I may not like the guy politically, but I respect this. He clearly loves his son, even in a high tension time when he could be otherwise distracted, he was still mindful of his son.
Nice forced perspective, but no. There are multiple other clips where you can see the son is nowhere near that prompter, and more importantly, the look on Walz's face when he yanks on his arm.

Really trying to force political narratives in every sub at this point. Will be so glad when the election year ends.
Are you seriously responding to and agreeing with your sock/troll account? That's pretty pathetic.
It seems like the sister was walking with her brother. Yet, the brother walks behind the teleprompter and the sister walks in front of it. Can you explain why that is?
Go ahead. Post that other clip. The one that proves walz is a horrible person
This one?
https://youtu.be/qT91WsVmcPY?si=KWHfEjlKigIWpuNu
See my other comment to the exact same thing you just replied
I don't have to.
You can sit there and stomp your feet and whine 'source?' all you want. I don't care. We BOTH know the footage exists, and we both know a simple Google search will find it.
That’s amazing! Walz just has so much awareness.
I have been wondering why he pulled him like that, I thought maybe he was angry or something. This makes sense.
FoxNews: "Watch as Walz nearly dislocates his son's shoulder for not keeping up with him!!! He isn't fit to be a father, much less VP!"
-probably
Dad saves
How Large do people think teleprompeters are? LOL. Its forced perspective, they were no where near the teleprompter. If that was the case his sister must be a ghost who can walk though teleprompters lol
she walked around the other side of it
Special.
How? if he didn't even look up to see the teleprompter.
dad reflexes
Why does his son look and acting like he has an extra chromosome?
He has ADHD …
This video is edited to shit. The girl walks through the teleprompter stand ...
she walks around it from the other side of her dad and brother
I'm glad y'all got some sensible people looking to get elected now but this is a stretch, pretty sure that was just a yank of encouragement/come along
If he knocked that over Kamala would have been unable to speak
Not even elected yet. Look at how hard he works for the little guy. The dude is gonna be a great president
Finally I can say without irony: Literally me.
Special
If only Walz could have saved Trump from his.
Smh... 😑 wow
Ya need to do a better job at photoshopping. The monitor stand jumps from behind, to in front, then behind! 🤣😂
Damn, his ear could have gotten shot clean through by that teleprompter, just like Trumps.
That was practically an assassination attempt he saved him from!
Go to r/conservative and r/trump and find the post talking about this. Those people are nasty full of hate. A bit alarming honestly.
I just visited r/ conservative and couldn’t find anything about Tim waltz’s son. Can you please provide a link?
I love my Gov. And love bashing the weird white racists dudes in my state who hate him. Just move away bud! We don't want/need you here!
You people are starting to sound like Trumpers. The upvotes this is getting is embarrassing.
didn't realize how serious some people would take this. it's just a fun little thing without any Jesus implications at all. have no idea how this post indicates that
Nah…that face isn’t one of concerned father helping a child…it’s one of anger and should be concerning. If the teleprompter was a problem, his daughter would’ve had to swerve around it and she barely moved as she stepped next to them for the wave.
I'll allow it
That’s what those things are???
I was with my gfs sister and she has two kids. I caught their youngest two times today by sheer accident, sometimes you see things they don’t, sometimes neither of you see it coming and they eat shit… here’s my issue with it, the republicans are gonna find a way to connect him crying and him almost running into this thing as some sort of stupid thing…
I’m a republican, and im worried they are gonna do this… its a shitty world we live in
No he didn't. He wasn't even paying attention
That’s what those things are? How do they work?
Saved him from teleprompter pain
Tommy Boy vibes are strong w this one…
Is the teleprompter not quite a few yards in front of them?? It's hard to tell from this perspective
no, the daughter walks around the other side of it.
