Looking for the coolest ice flavour on the market.

Thanks for your advice!

  • WS-5 might exceed WS-23’s cooling potential, you can find at Flavor Jungle, but be wary of using too much coolant too often because like u/isuamadog said you will build a tolerance to it.

WS-5 has a terrible chemical taste at higher concentrations though, I use WS-23 at up to 5% without a hint of flavour changes.

I don’t use coolant at all myself so that’s really good to know, thank you! Out of curiosity where did you source your WS-5 from, if you can share? Just thinking that you may unluckily have stumbled upon a low quality batch, though I guess that’s probably not the case and WS-5 isn’t all that great lol.

  • Ws-23.

Be warned: you will build a tolerance. Chase cold up to a limit.

I have been using cooling for years and have not upped the amount of cooling i use. I just find it enhances and brings out more flavour from fruits.I still feel about the same cooling

I’m delighted to hear. For those who truly chase cold, they tend to up it every time they adjust to it and I’ve seen it used as high as 4% with other coolants and people will complain it’s not cold enough. A touch of cold does indeed spruce up a fruit every now and again. I have trouble using it when I found out it was originally intended for use in shaving cream by Wilkinson Sword. Purely psychological but, also, real.

Nice fun fact. Yeah even 1% is to much for me

  • FLV ice is strong

  • uwell salts were pretty icy for me
