Sorry, deleting.
I've been reading the sidebar and most of the links or old and don't work with the new atf site. I'm trying to build a strawberry watermelon pod recipe for a 25w pod system and I'm failing. The watermelon isn't strong enough.
I started with CAP sweet watermelon 6% FA rst watermelon 6% CAP sweet strawberry 6% CAP super sweet 1%
I have like 25 different watermelon/candy flavors CAP, TPA, FA, FW, FLV, SSA, LA, VT and like 8 different strawberry flavors CAP, TPA, FA, FLV, PUR, JF.
Any help would be much appreciated and if this is in the wrong place I apologize. I'm a noob when it comes to pod recipes.
I'm also fairly new, but do you have any INW Cactus handy? It has a very "juicy" profile, and sort of reminds me of artificial watermelon flavor in a way. It's very strong
I don't have any advice on the strawberry side, unfortunately.
Yes I have INW Cactus. I don't like using it because of the taste. But I guess in small quantities, it might be helpful. Thanks
Well what’s the recipe you’re using taste like to you?
Weak watermelon, I'm trying to go a little bolder with a more authentic taste as it's the main note in the recipe. The strawberry is in the background where it should be.
Watermelon actually is a weak flavor. Real and/or fake. If you’re ok with a candy watermelon, I’d use LA watermelon (4%) with maybe a touch of MB Big melon (2%) as found in Frozen Alfred’s Tears.
The cap sb sweet is probably muting your overall mix. I’d swap that for something else, even if it’s where you want it now.
I have TPA sb and ripe sb Thanks for your help
None of those are any of my favorites but I’m not a sb fan really either. I’ll let someone else chime in there.
I’ve tried so many watermelons. For me it’s LA for candy, Flv wild melon for just good tasting melons (not necessarily wm), and mb for realistic.
Ok thank you
I am also vaping on 25 w pod and can’t taste watermelon in the pod. It just comes across as generic sweetness. Watermelon flavours are too weak and just cannot translate though the coils. Same for cap sweet guava, every strawberry I have tried (not Alpine FLV), FA Fuji which is supposed to be such a great crisp apple. Not for me. I use it as additive only. There are flavours that NOTED says are amazing and I am sure they are on an RDA/RDTA set up but not in a pod set up. This includes the highly rated SSS Raspberry Syrup, SSA Compote Cherry and FW Razzleberry. There are some flavours that definitely do work for me though. They are stronger and you can make a great recipe.

What have you tried?
Custard monster strawberry vanilla, has a weird chemical taste.
Cloud nurdz apple watermelon, the lactic acid affects my stomach
Monster vape the milk strawberry, has a horrible aftertaste
Cloud nurdz cherry berry, feels weak and has that lactic acid in it too.
All of them have a weak to little buzz affect too, despite them being 5% or 48mg. I have a candy king strawberry belts on order, so when that comes in I’ll give it a try, but my hopes are low that I’ll find a decent replacement.
Nicotine addiction is a bitch.....
This is a sub about making your own juice. I’m not sure what you are asking
I guess what could I do to make my own flavor as close to the one I enjoy now?
Hi guys. Hope all are well.
Quick question. Which custards are the shortest steepers?
I know custards are best left for as long as possible, I am just curious as you guys have a lot more experience under your belts...err scales.
Thanks in advance!
Inw custard as seen in custard now
u/Isuamadog thanks for the rapid response!
Just what I was looking for. Back to the mixing lab I go. I'm a sucker for Rhubarb and Custard at the moment.
Cheers. Legend!
Got SSA Rhubarb? love that one. NOMZ Rhubarb is ok too but is a bit floral for my taste.
Uh huh. That's the main one that I have settled on for now, with a drop of INW. It is slim pickings on the Rhubarb.
Messing around with VTA Rhubarb Compote on some bakery recipes too.
Rhubarb and Custard CCW is alright for candies with some tweaking, but doubt I would purchase again.
Red Berries NOMZ was another flowery, perfumey disappointment. Maybe I got a bad batch.
I do like obscure flavours though, even though they can be trickier.
On the Plum trail at the moment. Steeping NOMZ Mirabelle Plum.
Have you had any luck with Plums?
It sure is, and they aren't super authentic either imo. But I never did try INW Rhubarb unfortunately.
I find pairing the SSA Rhubarb with a touch of INW Kiwi is interesting to try if you have that one. The tartness from the kiwi is similar to the tartness in the rhubarb, so they combo well together.
And na, don't own any plums sorry.
Thanks for the tips as always.
Man I went down a rhubarb rabbit hole at some point. I forget who recommended it to me but lb sb cheesecake mixes well with wf sw n sour rhubarb if you happen to have them both. Start lb 2 : wf 1.
This sounds delicious. Thanks for the recipe. I have been eyeing rhubarb for awhile. Do you think it has a POD level of flavour though? I am super invested in avoiding future diy disappointments at this stage.
