Lana was (surprisingly) my favorite variant, too. Considering Lana is an electrical engineer, giving her the Superman Red look along with those energy-based powers (that look like electricity) felt like a fitting move.
Lois as Superwoman is fine, but I also like Lois just being Lois. Lana was a character I was fine with DC making a major change with. Plus, Lana had Steel (John Henry Irons) as a romantic partner, so the two could automatically have each other as supporting cast members depending on who’s the leading hero of a particular story.
I don't see the OG up there, Kristen Wells. Her last appearance was a cameo in Whatever Happened...
I haven't read Lana's run yet, but I have enjoyed Lois'. And it's long overdue, really. Jerry Siegel had the idea of Lois being a partner in 1940 and it was overruled.
[Unpopular Opinion] Lois Lane must remain always human without superpowers. She is the best part of Clark, and showing him the best part of humanity. The real power of Lois is her courage, her determination, her cynicism and her sarcasm.
Agreed. It can be fun for Lois to have powers for, like, one story. But ultimately I've never wanted to see her have powers for longer. She's iconic in her own right.

Kristin Wells (because pre-Crisis Earth-One, helping Clark several times, and being revealed as the descendant of Jimmy Olsen), Lana Lang (because of an interesting status quo that expands her entire pre-Crisis Earth-One New Earth/Prime Earth history with the Superman Family), and Lois Lane (because of what happened in Joshua Williamson’s Superman run).
The honorable mention goes to Kara Zor-El, the original Supergirl. Even though she didn’t become Superwoman, I would say that she’s still Superwoman because of her entire pre-Crisis, pre-Flashpoint, and post-Flashpoint histories and that she should’ve graduated as the second Superwoman (after Kristin Wells) since her resurrection in 2004, years after her death and sacrifice during the first Crisis in 1985.
Another honorable mention goes to Lucy Lane, since she should’ve used her powers to become a superhero of Metropolis and aided the Superman Family, including her older sister Lois, instead of becoming a villain.
Which happened in The Superman Family 200, which is set in an alternate timeline brached from the pre-Crisis Earth-One/New Earth/Prime Earth continuity back in the late 1970s.
Lois. She's the OG. The mantle was made for her. Others have worn it well but it's a mantle she picks up when the story calls for her to have super powers too and there it shall lay. She is always Superwoman. Sometimes she gets powers and tights to exemplify that.

Lana Lang. Her Superwoman run was one of my favorite Rebirth comics.

Lois Lane
My mom. Always have been, always will.
I also vote for this person's mom.

The 1 from death of superman tales from the dark multiversity. Her outfit looks so dope.
Yes
I think Power Girl as she reminds me of She-Hulk.

There was at least one future story that showed Kara being superwoman (and also, the Governor of Florida!)

No idea why I couldn't remember which issue it was. But it's the holidays, so I'm going to pull it out and read it.
I like lois as superwoman but I hope she can be one for a run
