I think the biggest issue currently about the game are randoms rotations, you cant say one good thing about them, it ruins the experience.
Lets take the Bio Broly fight for example, you have limited tries WHICH IS GOOD, that makes the fight more special and you (most likely) wont beat him in the first 6 tries with the specific category (Androids).
But then here is the problem, random opening rotations that are not my doing and you lose runs simply because the game decides its time to lose by giving you random characters in random order, how has it been almost 11 years and we still have this?
The problem is not the random rotations. It’s the limited tries. We shouldn’t be restrained from trying different different teams on endgame content. It’s frustrating and devs are just doing it to extend screen time on the game through days. You wouldn’t care of the opening rotations if you had unlimited tries.
Is that not an integral part of Dokkan? The whole RNG factor makes things more challenging.
Sure, but most will just immediately forfeit if they don't get the proper rotations, as long as the event isn't limited in attempts.
You still need some control over it though, in a hard event, you are always considering orbs, active skills, possible SA's ect.
There is no control over starting rotations though, it's completely out of your hands.
I take random opening rotations over limited tries every day of the week honestly.
Learn how to balance a team between offensive and defensive options, hide and move your units in order to place them with their linking partners, sacrificing stacks on a unit cause you need to rotate it off and dely its powerspike... All these rng stuff are imo acceptable and teach you on how to improve your decision making, whether it be minimizing risks or take a leap.
Instead, even with perfect rotations you can just get screwed by rng having your 80% dodge unit to just die instantly, and then wait for the next day.
You can get just one stone from completing the stage and can claim the missions once only. There is no point in limited attempt on once only rewards. It should only be on the daily/weekly events like the roshi one or the one for dragon ores that just went away.
Idk how you can be in support of limited attempts while hating opening rotations like the randomness + limited attempts is part of the challenge imo
The first 3 should always come out the same imo. Opening rotation being up to RNG is annoying tbh

We have to say this in surveys. We have limited attempts AND can’t choose our rotations. The amount of times I’ve lost cause I can’t get the right rotations.
Yeah random opening rotations suck. Like, for example in the new Bio Broly fight, specifically Android missions actually make or break your run. No Gamma 1+2? Or god forbid you're running 16, and get Gamma 1+16 on a rotation. They're never changing it though, they want us to keep coming back and retrying daily in hopes of us just saying fuck it and drop money for the new shiny unit.
Evidently, it works too because the best thing they've given us is +3 attempts. If you could make the perfect rotations, like choosing say idk 5th Anni fusions turn 1 for their dodge, then float them till turn 4 for their 100% dodge units like this would age way slower too which would be fucking amazing, but again not happening.
Especially applies for WAY back in the day when Dokkan Events were the challenge. They tried getting people to use stones for retries.
I actually, hilariously, beat Bio Broly on my first attempt both times. GT Heroes for the first clear, and then Androids for the mission.
I think random rotations are one of the slim pieces of actual strategy in this game. You sometimes have to pick if you’d prefer having better rotations, or if you want a better shot at surviving a turn. It does feel super tilting sometimes when you get all of your floaters in a rotation, for sure, but I think removing this random element would actually diminish the experience.
How can you be in favor of limited attempts and then say random rotations are the problem? Random rotations are only a problem because of limited attempts.
Like unless you're bringing bullshit characters to events it's pretty easy to survive the first turn with moderns teams in most challenges outside of like a few outliers.

yeah it sucks but it makes dokkan, dokkan.
plus, it would make the game so boring in the future. every single rotation already being pre determined sounds terrible for the health of the game.
