They refuse to take the same chance with Anniversary though, and people always chalk it up to "it wouldn't sell well otherwise" despite there being no evidence one way or another.
Those are probably the worst examples I have ever seen of a “hey, let’s do hype stuff because other things can sell just as well.” You chose three obviously hype moments (even looking at DBL, Namek was part 3 of the 7th anniversary, and Gohan literally was the 10th anniversary, and it’s a known fact that if you pair a hero and villain of a saga, it sells like crazy) and said, “yeah, that proves my point.” Why not talk about the Saiyan Saga in the 7th anniversary, or talk about that part two of anni with Saiyan saga Gohan and the Z fighters?

Well looking at past trailers it would be easy to assume its not namek. The early trailers are never this much in your face. But they could be doing it differently.
I stated that King Piccolo would be a waste of an Anni character. OGDB is wonderful nostalgia, but there are much more deserving characters that need representation and are frankly better content. He can sit around and wait for a DFE.
Daima is just piss poor content in general. It's there for people to giggle and scream "omg chibi" as if it didn't get old quickly in GT, while trying to capitalize on the very small niche it left open. I suppose that it adds some lore and background to aspects that are not otherwise explored in the manga/main series, but not even necessary ones. It's fanfare, and I don't enjoy rewarding shitty spinoffs.

I'm guessing the next teaser will be next weekend? The 8th anniversary had 2, the first GT one ending right before the spirit bomb, the 2nd ended right before the spirit bomb against Buu. Those seemed pretty blatant whereas the company has tried to be more cryptic since then.
The Big Dragonball event is the 25th so we got one more weekend before that happens and that event has around 45 minutes dedicated to the mobile games so I'm guessing next video will be another teaser with maybe a full confirmation at the event? Would make sense to do that since there will a TON of eyes on that event so doing a full 11th anniversary reveal then makes sense.

What I was getting at was a unit who has conditional transformations and forms. Like if your team was Namek Saga or something like that he's Super Saiyan Goku. Or if your team is Buu Saga then he's SSJ3, Or Saiyan Saga and you have Kaioken Goku and so on.
