I swear, I feel like I downed half a bottle of Midori and smoked 3 joints last night, but I didn't! Been outta weed for a few days, and I almost never drink! It's thankfully not super common, but also not the first time this has happened. Anyone else ever experience this?

  • Are you dehydrated?

  • Processed/junk food makes me feel hungover for sure.

  • I drink coffee just to get back up to 0. If you're not on the road to caffeine addiction, maybe you're dehydrated, like somebody else here said. I think a lot of the classic hangover symptoms are just dehydration

  • When my husband drinks, I get the hangover. He’s fine the next morning. I don’t drink.

  • was a lot worse when I was younger yeah. I don’t think I was getting quality sleep. falling asleep with lights on and tv/music on can prevent you from reaching REM sleep cycles which are importantly for your brain to feel ok. Also had just awful, terrible depression

  • Every night I have severe sleep apnea maybe you could get tested.

  • “outta weed for a few days” could this be withdrawal?

  • Yes. It's horrendous.

  • This sounds like a medical issue. I second dehydration, but I'd certainly try to get into a Dr or therapist (if you have access).

  • I call em life-overs. I always keep on top of my nutrition, hyrdration so when I get one of these its always around stressful periods, times where work and social life is out of balance. While nursing, sobriety has navigated me to becoming an extrovert, after a stack of days of enjoying life with close friends, colleagues, patients, a life-over will typically set in and smack me into resting, enjoying time to myself more.

  • Only when I eat too many sugary snacks before bed, which is why I rarely do that. I also don’t drink anymore, as the hangovers became even more unbearable the older I got.

  • Yes. For me it is typically congestion.

  • If I have a bunch of sugar I feel hungover.
