Legitimate question: have you had a bourbon barrel-aged stout before? The bourbon flavor is incredibly strong just from the barrel.

I've had many barrel aged. Mostly ciders. I think I once had one that was almost 50% but that was 10-15 yrs ago

Sure, but I've never described the flavor as coming from "the bourbon". Maybe from "the barrel". And this label doesn't mention bourbon anyway.
It says BA on it,meaning Barrel Aged. Most commonly bourbon barrels.
