We, From the J.C.P.O. (James Culture Protection Organisation) hereby want to remind you to always bring about 20 bowties as it is very appropriate to wear 3 bowties in Jamestown as a male and 2 as a female, but always remember that you can only wear a maximum of 1 bowtie outside of Jamestown or else you may encounter a Jamesian spitting you in your face.

All elected officials are required to wear 7½ bow ties when functioning in their official capacity. It's unclear where that tradition started, but the nonbinary community wears 2½ bow ties, so some see the continuation of this tradition as queer inclusive!
i totally forgot about the officials, but please dont bring up non binary bow tie traditions after the bow tie war of 1865. (James was nonbinary up untill then after which the nonbinary oppressors were finally allowing other genders, but now after all of that history, the three live in peace)
