Spotted ICE on my drive on 270 this AM (around 7:45am). Unmarked blacked out pick up truck with blue/red cop tail lights and headlights flashing and a siren going. No other markings. Was driving the speed limit and merging between lanes from 23 until the Cleveland Ave exit when they got off the highway. No idea where they are going, but stay safe in the area!

Someone also posted on ICEout that they were at Morse/Stelzer around 8:30am.

    Bear with me here, just want to be educated. When I look at this address on Google Maps, it comes up with USCIS, or United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, not ICE, or Immigration and Custom Enforcement. Are they the same? Edit: Per this website, no field offices in Columbus: https://www.ice.gov/contact/field-offices

    Might be some confusion as both are agencies under the DHS but USCIS has their own enforcement arm.

    Also, the website listed for the location is ice.gov. It's a business park, and they blanked out the nameplate that is used for that address. I don't know if it's because it's a new location or if it's to obfuscate, but I wouldn't put it past them.

    Edit to add: they've been there for 2 or more years, the lack of a business plate means to me that they're trying to hide. Cowards

    Yeah, it should also not be confused with USCBP (Customs and Border Protection) who is also under the DHS and has their own enforcement arm lol

  • This fucker tried to run me off the road near the McDonald's on Cleveland ave just south of the exit. They were in a turn left only lane, and I was in the only straight forward lane, and they cut me off by going straight anyway and nearly ran me up the curb on the corner. Bis ass black truck, dark tinted windows, and out of state license plate.

    With lights on and a siren going, not pulling anyone over, driving the speed limit weaving around with fully blacked out windows? Considering this pickup looked identical to ones in videos online of ICE stops in the city, I would rather be safe and let people know than be wrong and have someone get hurt.

  • I don't think ICE is in Columbus anymore. They bussed out all their arrest last week from the Kohl's parking lot. Kohl's or JC Penny one of those.
