People who dont know anything about climbing still are atleast familiar with his face because they have seen one of his videos. I myself got into bouldering after watching magnus for a while and it was not a climbing vid that made me go bouldering the first time it was his strength comparison with eddie hall. So let him do whatever he likes 🫡

I kinda hate people who gatekeep this awesome hobby, I try to be very welcoming to new people in the gym and teach basic stuff in the crag to friends who are starting to go to the rock.
But this is a circlejerk sub being a bit of a dick head is baked in.
Would you want people who don't have a love for the nature of climbing to flock to the sport? Would you want to associate with people who don't live and die for the inherent beauty of the craft? I sure as fuck wouldn't.
