Wow!! Heard all the sirens from Cleveland Heights and wondered what was the emergency until I remembered the UH email about Operation Santa’s Sleigh at 8pm tonight.
I know that hospital all too well. My dad was at the Seidman Cancer Center there twice before he was told there was nothing more they could do. He passed in April.
I'm glad the kids get to see this, it's so hard to be there sometimes. This post is so bittersweet.
It's a bunch of fun flashing lights for kids who are sick, restless, and desperately need a fun distraction. And little kids love cars and trucks, especially noisy stuff like firetrucks.
They're downvoting you but you're right! This is how they manufacture consent from adults for the heinous crimes they commit — woo them while they're kids with the fun flashing lights. "Suwely the nice powice officews would nevew huwt anybody! Back the Bwue!"
I can just hear them all singing in their cars.. "The sirens on the police cars go whoop, whoop.. whoop... whoop, whoop, whoop..whoop, whoop, whoop.. all through the town..."
Nah, kids get to smile while trapped in the hospital. Kids don’t have their political views categorized yet. So a police car isn’t anything more than a big toy with lights and sounds.
Christmas has never been for adults.
So I’m fine with a bit of my taxes being used for boosting children’s morale.
(Before someone says I’m white/ never been wrongfully pulled over/ never been arrested or harassed) I’m not/ I have/ I have and I have
I can put my hate aside for children . Also seeing badass firetrucks pull past is cool.
They do it for the kids in the hospital. They drove around UH and the kids look out the window.
They do. I was in one of those rooms (as a parent). It truly meant a lot to us.
Awww. I hope your child is doing well today ❤️
Yup a bone marrow transplant cured my child of Leukemia 9 years ago! They are doing great.
Aw, that's fun. I bet some kids were absolutely levitating with joy at getting to see a parade of firetrucks!
Microwave resurrection celebration
Beautiful escort from the bench to South Euclid city hall 🫶🥲
7/25 next year will be a busy time. Will have to plan ahead of time for parking and to get a pic with Mr. Mike Rowave himself
Tis the reason for the season after all, what else is there?

Imagine being stoned out of your mind and driving up on this
Nows the time to do the crime

May your father's memory be a blessing.
Thanks, friend. Happy holidays. 🌲❤️
They bring Santa to the kids at the hospitals. If that bothers you, you need to assess yourself.
I'd rather just about anyone else bring Santa.
Someone that never had a kid the hospital at Christmas would say that.
Why do you want armed guards for Santa???
It's a bunch of fun flashing lights for kids who are sick, restless, and desperately need a fun distraction. And little kids love cars and trucks, especially noisy stuff like firetrucks.
So have the firefighters do this. Or enjoy your copaganda, whatever.
you're fun at parties

Thanks. The downvotes don't bother me. Better than being ignored.
It's literally just a light show (essentially) do the kids. Get out of your conspiracy chamber and touch grass.
How many children do you have?
What have you done to spread joy this season?
I think Operation Santa's Sleigh?
For the people in the hospital to have something to smile about ya grinch.
this is actually what CLE hopkins arrivals looks like at 12 am
For the kids
I can just hear them all singing in their cars.. "The sirens on the police cars go whoop, whoop.. whoop... whoop, whoop, whoop..whoop, whoop, whoop.. all through the town..."
I thought it was an actual emergency hearing all those sirens, wtf man
I know, right? But they do this every year at this time. Scared tf out of me when I first saw this a few years ago.
yeah I’ve lived in university circle for the past 5 years, I don’t recall this happening
They only do this right before Christmas.
I recently drove by a state trooper that had their lights lit up, and they were in the shape of snowflakes for the season.
I just wanted to share that.
Nah aliens
So when I call for police and they say they are short staffed they are short staffed but for certain clients they suddenly aren’t short staffed?
They’re here to protect private property and the law they aren’t here to protect you
I think they are going to look for the microwave
I’m happy they are taking the missing microwave seriously. Priority number 1 imo.
Everyone should post about this at least 4 more times
Terrorists on the other side of town be like.... 😎
I think it's only one vehicle representing a department from a city and not just Cleveland in general.
It was a j/k.
My bad.

Biggest waste of taxpayer money! 😂
....as compared to what?
Pretty dumb looking but maybe because I’m not a boot licker
Fire fighters and ambulances can't have fun with the littles?
Sorry I have extreme ptsd. I’m genuinely sorry for being insensitive. 🥂
I also have complex PTSD. I would be lying if I said this didn't scare me at first.
Yeah you are.
Can someone explain why the hell they did this so late at night? I thought there was a friggin bomb threat or hostage situation 😭
How is 8pm "late at night"?
So late at night? It was late in the evening like 7:30 8pm PM. You know it’s gotta be dark to see the lights. 👍

What part is a waste, the gas in cars? I'm sure the cops weren't on the clock getting paid to participate in a parade.
But why?
Why ask why, drink Bud Dry? I think it's Operation Santa's Sleigh?
For the kids
I guess fuck everyone else who has lives and want to go home.
Remember that we all are one second away from being on the other side of that hospital window, wishing to be home for the holidays.
That's assuming one has a home, enjoys the holidays, or even wants to be alive.
Fair, but my point stands: nobody wants to be behind that hospital window.
The kids in the hospital for Christmas want to go home.
You're right, I'm sure so many kids will be miraculously better by morning because of this parade!! What a miracle, God bless!
Fuck I literally was asking my friend the other day if they remembered seeing this years ago and they couldn’t remember. I’m mad we missed it.
This is how many police showed up downtown during a bar fight when someone claimed to have a gun
Get real lol...........
