both builders in my builder base were busy, i saw that i still have to place camp fire which cost 2,400,000 but i didn't have enough, yet i placed any way and thought it won't be placed cause both builders are working, i pressed on "buy elixer?" pop up, and it bought it. 🤡
now, is there any black magic or something which can make me forget what just happened? I'd rather, forget what happened then wonder where the gems go, than knowing it was me. 🙂
I did the exact same thing when I was half asleep checking my Builder Base and ended up spending over 1,000 gems on elixir, It could have been anything, but elixir. I then crashed out and went on a spending spree. I had 30k gems, now I’m down to 11k. You have to move on.

Gems are meant to be spent, not in loot, but you shouldnt keep thousands of them stored.
That’s true, but you never know what Supercell might introduce in the future that could involve gems.
There are already many things that involve gems such as goblin builder, apprentice, and book of heroes
I do see the appeal of keeping around 5k or so since they've shown they're willing to drop powerful gem sinks like the helpers. And you dont want one to drop and either have to play for months before being able to max it or spend money on it.
But, yeah, large sums like 30k are absolutely crazy. Don't understand that.
Bro this shit happened to me on the day th18 came out 😭 i gemmed a whole RC level. 7400 something gems went down the drain in an instant. I had a hammer of heroes saved up, so the worst part was that I had to cancel the upgrade after gemming it cause i need RC for wars 😂. A content creator saw my comment about this and gifted me 2 gold passes though, that was really cool of him. Guy named Trample Damage

Similar thing happened to me last week. Spent over 800 gems on elixir to upgrade a pet. Almost crashed out
I once speak around 600 gems on super troops 😵💫
And I thought accidentally spending raid medals on elixir was bad…

Absolutely brutal. I’ve accidentally spent at least 5000 gems that way, as well as multiple book of buildings and hero’s 😭😭. Best thing to do now is go to the casino and lose real money 👍🏼
