I'm sad that this was implemented since I have an international clan. And GP giveaway was my way to motivate my clanmates to try their best in every task like clan rush event, cwl, etc. Plus holiday season, i like to give random giveaways to clan.

I wish sc would fixed the prices equal to all countries. And make skins and sceneries gift-able like every other mobile games

  • Sadly, you can't quite get a fixed price on those goods because someone would get extremely scammed by that.

    There are countries (like Venezuela) where people could live by farming on Runescape and selling the in-game currency for dollars due to inflation of their local currency. For them, buying a gold pass for like $10 would be like spending 1/10th of their monthly salary.

    On the other hand, if it was to be adjusted based on those countries, a pass would likely cost cents. Which would bring no money to Supercell.

    As bad as it is for international clans, regional prices are mandatory. And region locking is needed, because otherwise it would generate a black market for gold passes and such.

    There's really no workaround for that. And that's the same reason why some countries have a great afflux of tourists who, despite being middle-class, can live in luxury due to the strength of their currency
