They already increased the number of medals you get 3 times. It used to be 200 per attack, now it is up to 500. I'm guessing they will do it a few more times.
I’ve never completed it in one day before, usually takes me over half the month to do it. Why would they choose this season as the one to make the bonus track 20x harder to complete? Are we supposed to be grinding out hours of attacks during the Christmas season?
They can never win, you get much more tokens now than you did any previous event, this keeps the grinders happy/engaged while still giving casual players plenty of event tokens.
Yes, they should differentiate those who want to grind to get bonus points and those who will only do the minimum effort and still expect all those same bonus points.
Sarcasm aside, this event is sure more grindy, but with bonus mites ramping up it should be quite comfortably completed by the end of the event for most players. Do or don't, damned either way.
I don’t understand why there’s so many posts about this. You can get a full free hero equipment from this event, do you expect to be able to get it in 2 hours? They keep increasing how many mites you get every couple days and it’s on for another 14 days. You will likely get it from just doing your 5 stars a day eventually. If you don’t like the grind, don’t do it and don’t get rewarded for not doing it it’s super simple.
For RC, electro boots is pretty much a must. With that either you go full offence and choose Rocket spear or go support and choose Frost flake. Frost flake especially helpful in smash strategies. If you use drags/edrags/dragon riders I'd say Rocket spear would be a little convenient to snipe off some defences.
Tldr - it's as good as rocket spear so definitely worth putting your ore in if you'd like a playstyle change for RC
100% you will. With eboots as an exception, all other epics you have only invested (at most) 23% of the starry ore required to level said pieces to level 27. That goes for all your 18-20 epics.e-boots "only" need 270 starry ore for those final levels.
In reality, you have barely even begun spending starry ore. As I said, you just don't realize it yet.
Your problem is exacerbated by you spreading around what Ore you have across all kinds of random equipment - you can only ever use 8 pieces at a time. Leveling up additional pieces will just further delay you ever playing with a solid set of maxed equipment.

That way you are just left with a few good sets with shitty levels rather than one maxed good set. You are just delaying that max potential for every misc piece you spread Ores on to, and your eboots aren't even halfway there yet, in terms of starry.

I would suggest play normally because in the end the boost will be far better, then you can grind a bit to complete it.

I always fall short of glowy ore, which is why I think they could give glowy ore twice and an stary ore reward option. What do you guys think?
The only reason you're short on glowy ore is that you're a lowish TH or have lowish/very few epic equipment.
Everybody, including you, has a starry ore problem. You just don't realize it yet.

I agree with your 3 point, but different attack need different set of equipment, which is why I have upgraded few other which is not equipped now.

Yeah, lvl 21 upgrades take 100 starry lmao and it only gets higher from there
