We are almost are point where epic equipments will cross the no. Of common ones, still there is no way to get starry except raid medals, event and daily bonus, which are absolutely garbage and without event u only get somewhere around 70-80 per month

You’re not counting wars, which is the main source of starry ore, and it comes out to 235 starry ore a month with a 50% win rate. 40 starry a month from the trader, 60 from the star bonus, and an average of 9 starry per war if you’re attacking th17+, so ~135 a month from that.
A f2p player can currently keep up with the releases as equipments are released every other month, but unless something changes with their release (which supercell said would happen next year), it’s practically impossible for a f2p player to catch up with past equipments, unfortunately. I’d hope they slow their release.
And even at a 0% winrate u get 6 per war so u only lose out on 45 starry per month even if ur in the worse possible clan and just 1 starring th16+ as long as ur attacking in constant wars. Which even if less ideal still allows u to keep up on the meta relevant epics and skip the bad ones. Thts worse case scenario with constant wars.
Isn’t it 60 a month from the trader? 15 a week for 275 gems. Also, not to mention CWL, which is ~30 with a 50% WR.
They will most likely make it able for F2P players to catch up, they haven’t made it impossible for everything else in the game.
Raid medals are 10 starry a week, so somewhere between 30-40 a month unless I'm missing something

Doing the math from regular wars, CWL, raid medals, and star bonus mentioned above, you get 265 starry ore per month, which is 530 starry ore every 2 months. So far, a new epic equipment releases every 2 months and each one takes 480 starry ores to max. This leaves you with 50 spare starry ore after maxing out the equipment.

He calculated 235 but didn’t account for CWL, where you get ~30 medals with 50% WR. 235+30=265. Read the previous comments and that’s not even the max amount 💀

That's only if you double dip wars during CWL week, which, frankly is a real pain moving accounts between clans each day. So it's more realistic to leave out CWL, since CWL or Regular average to 4.5 starry per day.

Also you said 60 from start bonus but am titan league 26 so it's 30 for me 40 from trader and wars is like take 40-60 Now it goes to 100-130 Now maxing one whole epic equipment takes 480 starry So it's 4 months But now the number of epics to max(only the best ones which are generally used am skipping torch frostetc here). Action figure, fireball, rocket spear, electroboots , snake bracelet, spiky ball , dark crown and magic mirror It's 32 months with f2p.
Even from events say i take those 100 starry That just skips a month
this is my calculation:
every 2nd month there is a new equipment, that means you must max an epic in 60 days. it will cost 480 starry to max it.
Most epics you dont need lvl 27, also you need 330 starry.
you get 60 starry in 2 month from daily bonus ...now you miss 270 starry
every week 10 starry from raid medals, 80 in 2 month ... you needs 190 more
You get enough gems as f2p to buy 15 starry every week from trader. 120 in 2 month. Residual ... 70 starry.
Depends on your activity you will get in cw/cwl, medall event, from treasures, watching live events, gifts in shop/store.
There are some epic equipments you will never need, dont invest your ores in it. most equipments are not much more better on lvl 27, dont waste 150 starry for the last level. I only prefer to max out 3 epics, spiky, Action figure and spear. But this is only my opinion.
Ah ok if according to this Only last 10 levels of my rocket spear are left Also what about like fireball cuz it's being very much used
fireball only get +150 damage from lvl26 to lvl 27. It is only interristing at th18 if you use fireball with eq spell.

Honestly as a near maxed base, getting it from star bonus, wars, raid medals, and gems, I think it's alright. It's not meant to be a quick process. Y'all would've cried in the old days when this game was all about patience, they've done TONS to speed up everything in this game
It can be made better though, like process is still slow and they just keep releasing equipments , like make the trader give 60-70 per month , like evn increase the cost from 350 raid medals to 400 or more but more oress

Your legaye is electro or in titan? Cuz if it's electro then it's a bit better but as I even edited am taking titan 25 which is based for 17 and 18
You conveniently left out clan wars which is the main way to get starry ore. The daily bonus was a recent addition and definitely helps so all in all I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Yes it will take a while to max everything but pretty easy to max the equipment you use

This is only true if you haven't unlocked and upgraded the equipments as they were released. I understand if you missed a couple of events or weren't playing for a while, but the game has to also keep in mind players who have played regularly for years, they need to have some edge over the others. If they simply handed out everything to players just for playing a little(and believe me they are already doing this in other things because this generation is so weak and impatient), then the value of things go to garbage, and then players like you might be happy, but others who have played regularly for years will not feel rewarded and then they will cry instead of you. So there's no pleasing everyone.

Oh sweetie, you're so mistaken. First of all, its been 2 years since the first epic equipment came out. Secondly, nobody is "giving" edge to old players, it's something that naturally happens in every single game, if a concept so basic can't get into your head, then idek why we having this discussion. They didn't purposefully try to make it hard for new players by increasing the price or something, instead they are even trying to give more by adding starry ore to star bonuses, its a process, they can't just wake up one fine day and increase all sources of starry ore. And if you feel titan league ain't giving you enough, try to push a few leagues, in every single game, moving up gives you more reward, u cant just ask for more by staying in the same league, or if u wanna stay don't target to max your equips, try 21 or 24 level first across the board so you have bunch of viable equipment. Be it game or life, if ur unsatisfied, its your job to push forward and not sit their whining.

You are way off on your calculations. Without spending anything, I gain enough starry ore to max an epic each time they get released. I don't use raid medals either. With the recent ranked leagues, I'm getting a lot more starry.
You are electro league, what i said is using base league with is for th 17 titan 25, and am titan 26 , so my calculations with taking war into account goes 110-120

Well to sum up things, before ranked, you could earn enough starry f2p to max an epic every other month. After ranked, you can do even more.

Well last month i was close to 1k cap, thank god they released this new equip, and soon another. Because blue and purple is being always a lost for me, because they cap fast.
We that play since launch and do war everyday, the ores are ok

Consider skipping equipment for the starry ore. I skipped lavaloon, torch, and ice flake and have maxed all the equipment that I actually use.

Dude there are like 7-8 epic equipment Which are good and viable to max out And as I said it takes like 3-4 months each to max Now even with events (as f2p) i will cut down to 2 months That's still 1.25 years Plus with new equipments releasing , how can u like expect to be with meta or at least a decent attack comp
What do you need to max all of them for? The queen and the warden don’t even need epic equipment. Meta for equipment hasn’t even changed since??.. rocket spear? Boots? You still haven’t maxed those?
My electro boots are maxed and rock spear is 17 ( got them 2 months from chest) Also fireball is meta and so is action figure, if u are clearly saying that they are unnecessary then my man you are wrong
They are not necessary, but they are the way to go if you are running a ground attack. You don’t need them.. specially if you got the spear and boots from a chest?… did you not bother to get it during the event? It’s free.. or did you start late?…. In which case this is important context to have left out. In any event… you seem to be behind in general to worry about meta. You can be competitive with some basic equipment..
I have some reason why I was not playing at that time (rocket spear) , I had gotten electro boots from event though. Also like except snake bracelet and fireball which are level 1 Other are like around 21 which is decent
That’s all great… but again you are mad about being behind in a game where you left yourself behind. You leave yourself behind you can’t be mad that you can’t keep up with the meta.. trying to upgrade multiple meta pieces.

Even with clan war, if you're already behind on epics and then a new really good one comes out, you'll be stuck trying to upgrade that and a new epic will release by the time you level it and the cycle repeats
That's what am trying to say man Either slow epic release or make starry income better. And every calculation is done with taking th 17 in mind , if u go lower it's worse
We can get around 60 starry per week, that's 7~ weeks to max a single epic, it seems reasonable imo considering you can also get them from chests, events and gems, if you're getting 80 per month you probably don't even play the game that much so why do you even care about epics
I skipped on wars Also dude chest can't be taken in account cuz it's chances , Gems are already like for many things u can't go buying around starry unless u like spend shitty amounts on game And with the event The number of epics is still too much
So you are not doing wars? That is the main source of starry ore in the game.
From war alone you will get over 200 starry ore per month.
