I've been on a journey of getting to know Jesus more and more over the last 4 years, before that I wasn't Christian. And today He saved my life. I can't explain what happened in any other way. It was like He bent the rules of time and space to save me. I made a commitment this morning to read the Bible every day in the morning to stay close to God and have protection through His Word.
Then this afternoon I was driving and taking a turn across an intersection when a car came out from behind stopped cars driving illegally in the center lane and almost t-boned me. His car was speeding at my driver's side door, and he was about to ram into me when something unexplainable happened. I felt what I can only describe as an air cushion between my car and his, like Jesus pushed his car back, which gave me just barely enough time to continue turning and get out of the way of being hit. It was like he literally bounced away from my car for a few seconds and then I saw him continue to speed on by behind me in my rear view mirror as I straightened out my car into the lane I was turning into
It was ... incredible.
All I can say is - thank you, Jesus 🙂↕️
Praise the Lord! Jesus also saved me five or so years ago while riding a motorcycle on the mountain I went a bit too fast and did not anticipate the sudden sharp turn. I had seconds to react but I froze and looked down the mountain rain ledge telling myself this is how I am going to die. Somehow like you’ve said, God bended space and time and I made the turn even though I froze up in the moment. Before every motorcycle ride I always pray to the Lord to protect and keep me safe. Praise God and blessed are those who follow Jesus! Amen!
That's wild man, both of you having those split second saves. There's definitely something to be said about that feeling when everything just... works out in a way that shouldn't have been possible. Glad you both made it through safe
The Lord has good plans for you and him saving you shows his trustworthiness. Keep the faith and remember he loves you so much he gave his life on the cross for your sin. Amen
Thank yourself. You saved your own life. Fictional characters from ancient books had nothing to do with it. No miracle, no devine influence, just you reacting to a dangerous situation. You did it on your own.
