I just turned 18, for the last few years I’ve been openly hating God, Jesus and anything related to Christianity

But it all started 2 years ago when I thought God wanted me dead, I had intrusive thoughts, blaming him for everything, cussing at him and threatening him everyday (like… everyday)

And people tell converting to religion isn’t for me, they tell me I’m an arrogant and horrible person, and I just feel that’s not me being who I am

I’m thinking of becoming Christian like my mother, but that means I would have to give up everything and basically be a slave to God (still hoping he doesn’t actually want me dead) but I feel like after everything I’ve done and said to him, he would reject me, or that I did become Christian, he would just kill me straight away, and the only reason why I’m thinking doing this is because of the end of the world coming soon, so yea, I feel like I’m only doing this for selfish reasons, and it’s too late for me and I’ve wasted my existence, I survived multiple near-death experiences in the past for nothing

Is it too late for me, am I doomed? (God probably hates me)

  • It's never too late.

  • God doesn't care about your past. He only cares about your future. And the life of a Christian is not a bad life. We have such a peace and joy.

  • It’s never too late. Christ says that anyone that accepts him can be saved. That’s the power of Christ’s sacrifice - no sin is too great and no person is too far gone for Him. Nothing we do can ever change that. We can’t earn God’s forgiveness and we can’t take it away; only Christ’s sacrifice can.

  • Salvation is received the moment a person believes the gospel of Christ, because the Scriptures teach that we are saved by grace through faith and not of works (Ephesians 2:8–9). God saves the sinner who simply believes that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1–4), and He promises eternal life to all who believe on the Son (John 3:16). The moment you trust Christ, God justifies you freely (Romans 3:24), forgives all your sins (Colossians 2:13), seals you with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), and gives you everlasting life, not temporary life (John 5:24). Jesus said, I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish (John 10:28), which means salvation cannot be lost, because it depends on Christ’s finished work, not your performance. Works do not save you, works do not keep you saved, and works do not prove salvation. Christ alone is the Savior, not our behavior. The gospel is simple: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved (Acts 16:31).

  • It is never too late to seek Christ!

  • It's never too late, God still loves you, as He does all of us. We're all sinners, and there have been people to go to Him that were much more far gone than you. He doesn't push us away, that's all us.

And about the end of the world you mentioned, yes it is very likely that the end times are coming, but whatever your motives at first, you can make progress. We all have to start somewhere, I think a lot of people started out just wanting a ticket out of hell or something, and then got to know God better.

You're by no means doomed, if you're still alive, you still have a chance. God bless you.

  • God loves you, you are His child. I will pray for you ✝️

  • I find consolation in that Christ knew everything I'd ever do wrong before I was even born, and he still loved me enough to save me. It's never too late and God will always welcome you with open arms.

  • I am so happy you decided to follow God!!!

Advise: The biggest mistake is that you listen to what people say. That in itself would make you feel rejected as: People are sinful, God is not. People can't separate sin from man, God can. God does not enslave you. People do that. God sets you free, gives you peace, love, and grace. God gives salvation, not death.

Don't place your focus on Christianity. Put your focus on learning about the heart of Jesus. Take time to learn who He was, what He did, and why he did it. VERY IMPORTANT is also to learn WHO He did it for.

I started a relationship with Jesus reading and writing as I am a very analytical person who needs to understand facts and how they formed history.

You might be a good listener or consume the info in another way. The method of information consumption that you use to start a relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, should be something you love doing as you will be amazed at how interesting and fascinating it gets.

As soon as you start a relationship with Him, it changes you. Be prepared.

I am so excited that you decided to follow Him. Remember, do not be afraid of rejection, anger or judgment. FEAR is the absence of FAITH. It is what evil uses to distract you from your relationship with God.

Can’t wait to hear back about how you proceeded and how it is going.

    Be blessed.

  • I had a lesson today about celestial, terrestrial and Telestial and how we work up to celestial. Everyone is human and does things they aren’t proud of. I have had and still do have some similar thoughts to you and all I can say is Jesus loves you, even when you aren’t feeling like he does. The fact you know that’s not who you want to be is awesome. I wish you luck on your journey, it’s always nerve wracking to try something new! But you got this!

  • God doesn't hate you, one of the disciple were blasphemer and even persecuted Christians, but God forgave them, it's not too late

  • It's never too late! Christ loves you, even if you hated him.

  • Talk to your mother! I don’t know where she stands with God or what she believes but she can prob help you. Also God by no means hates you. He doesn’t want you dead it says in the word that he has a plan for you not so you can be a “slave” to him but so you can be a servant. He loves you and he wants to walk with you!

  • Nah, if the sources are to be thrusted you could be Stalin and it wouldnt be to late

  • Jesus loves you. It's never too late.

  • As long as youre alive, its not too late

  • Sounds like you’ve got OCD. Maybe get that checked out :)

  • Fear of the lord is the beginning of knowledge don't let the fact that he's scares you or that your angry draw you away from god he understands how you feel and is most likely the reason you survived any near death experience

  • Imagine God creating you, Hos masterpiece. And wanting you dead. Those are lies from the enemy. God’s Word says that He has a plan for you. It is written therefore it is. God paid for your soul at a cost. You need to renew your mond via God’s Word. Most of your post is literally lies that you tell yourself. You lack the very thing God wants to give you, faith. Jesus died so that you could have peace and live life abundantly.
