Hi everyone! I want to share my story of how Christ saved me from the grips of psychics, tarot, horoscopes, manifestation, new age beliefs, and zodiac signs four years ago. After graduating high school in 2021, I turned to the New Age movement out of frustration from being repeatedly rejected by the military. Feeling angry with God after months of unanswered prayers, I visited a psychic following my last rejection, which led me into a deep depression and destructive path.
However, months later, I surrendered my life to Jesus, and He spoke to me in a dream. His voice was powerful and authoritative, a voice I knew I would never hear again in this life. Four years later, everything He promised has come to pass and continues to unfold for my good. Remember, you are never too far gone for His mercy, and I am a living testament to that. God bless!
I've found that a lot of ex-New Age recent converts still take a lot of their conspirituality with them and paint a veneer of Christianity over it. Still way too over-reliant on dreams and signs, and obsession with spiritual warfare and demons and the devil everywhere.
They've simply traded one superstition for another.
I have "anti-spook". None of that stuff ever works with me. That also includes things like haunted places. Claims of the supernatural never occur around me.
Truly blessed. Question, what do you think now of magik and all that stuff? What is the difference between an encounter with Jesus, from let's say, channeling?
Hi friend! Thank you for your question. The distinction between encountering Jesus and channeling is significant. When I reached out to Him, I called on His name without needing crystals, rituals, or any other practices. I approached Him with a heart full of pain and a spirit ready to surrender, bringing my brokenness and struggles with depression. In contrast, channeling required various methods to connect with a supposed spirit, but with Jesus, it was a direct and personal connection.

Is long as you throw away EVERYTHING when it comes to new age like books, crystals, etc then you shouldn't have any doors open to your soul. So that's good. As long as you keep that door shut, then demons can't come and attack you

There is absolutely no evidence that any of that stuff is true. Always question and always seek sufficient evidence before acceptance.
