I applied to one Chipotle location in my city. I did it through Ava Cado and received a rejection 2 days later. There’s a bunch of locations in my city and neighboring cities so I’ve been trying to apply to those. But everytime I put my phone number through Ava Cado, she stops responding.
I don’t get why. It’s a different location I’m applying to! I “applied” again by using my bf’s number and she responded. I put my email and she stopped responding again.
What can I do?
Make an outlook if you have pc or gmail, and change up you resume a bit.
Can you think of any reason you would have been blacklisted?
not at all. i worked at chipotle for a year around 2023 and never had any problems. i quit due to my school schedule and they knew that as well
If you quit with no notice or anything like that then you are flagged in the system as nonrehirable, you need to get in contact with the gm of the store you want to work at or the field leader of the patch to get it corrected. Even if you change your number/email you’ll be rejected during onboarding because your social is marked too.
It's a bummer, but if it's working for everyone else and it only stops when it encounters your information... it sounds like it's rejecting YOU. It might be worth it to call the store directly just to be sure, but if they never follow up with you, you have your answer.
yup exactly! it works for others. just sucky because i have no clue what i even did wrong :((
That really stinks. It could have just been a butt hurt manager that didn't like you leaving for school. I would just look for work elsewhere 😕 sorry!

yeah that’s where i’ve been going. but the only way to actually apply through the website is by the AI chatbot
Its pretty unfair to you, but it looks like they already have your contact information set up to be automatically rejected. This has happened to me with other jobs, you can probably bypass it using a phone number from a free texting app, and just make a new email.

Try to apply by going to the actual store in person or calling them to see if they r hiring and taking interviews
i’ll try. but i was at a location last night and asked if they were hiring and the employees basically said to apply online
