I know there have been tons of posts about the HKG - China - Macau route but I am hoping someone who has recent experience with using the HZMB port can help me out.
Is it feasible to travel on the HZM bridge from Hong Kong to Macau and then immediately cross from Macau to Zhuhai? I have no idea what this port looks like but I understand the port serves as a transit for all three cities (HKG - Macau, Macau - Zhuhai, HKG - Zhuhai). Is it just one terminal that you can just jump over to say you are entering Zhuhai from Macau or is it separate terminals for different cities?
My proposed itinerary is HKG -> Macau -> Zhuhai (via HZMB) -> Zhongshan -> Shenzhen -> HKG
Either that or HKG --> Macau --> Shekou Port --> Shenzhen --> Zhongshan --> HKG
Thanks!
Thanks for your post, ohfiveseven! It seems like your post is about a TWOV (Transit Without Visa) Program. This is one of the most frequently asked questions. Please take a look at the following quick references: (1) Wikipedia has great and thorough article on the 240 Hour Transit Program (2) /u/DoubleNo2902 did a great job of providing a guide for the 144 HR TWOV HND > CAN > HKG with a ton of useful information.

The HZMB artificial island is actually in Zhuhai. The southern half is leased to Macau. When you take the bus in HK, you buy a ticket for your destination: Zhuhai or Macau. So if you're going to Zhuhai, you just take the bus to Zhuhai.
However I understand you want to make it look you are coming from Macau – TWOV I suppose? In which case you enter Macau, go upstairs to departures, and go to Zhuhai through the corridor (turn left instead of right to HK). You pass again through Macau Immigration (who might look at you weirdly) and can go to the TWOV desk.
However, if China Immigration ask you for your Macau landing slip, they'll see that you have just arrived and left. They might not react well to that...
The other solution is to go to Zhuhai directly from HK, and on the way out, exit Zhuhai to Macau. That way the triangle is complete...
