The most beautiful demon. Worked at a public park for 8 years. A neighbor spread a poppy mix in my park right before I started. It began as lovely little bunches of poppy that would die come the first effort of heat. I loved them.
I loved them. Even after I pulled the 4th 350 truck bed full of just their spent remains for the year.
It appears it has nearly exhausted the available resources at this point, but there it is, poor little thing. Of course there are eleventy billion others in better locations as I’m sure you can imagine.
You're right! Poppies were the only annuals I added last year, and the Lupine are from two years ago. I noticed the little Lupine seedling in the photo when I uploaded, but I thought it was in front of the clay before you had me take a second look.

These things will grow anywhere. I even had a few sprout and get about 5" tall in my entryway door mat.
That's really good, we love that.
I have one in my car’s taillight lens seal right now
Would love to see that if you've got a pic

I’ve given up on making poppies grow where I want them to.
Now you understand why they're a weed in other places of the world lol
Wow, just pop-py-ing up everywhere!
YOu've got a lupine in there, too.

Just not in the place where I spread the seeds.
