Hi everyone! I’m 6+1 weeks pregnant, (probably more like 5+4 because I have long cycles). I had a CP right after removing my IUD and MMC earlier this year, so you can imagine I’ve been very anxious about this pregnancy (I do not have any children).

I feel like I should have more symptoms by now, and it’s making me scared of having another MMC. My breast are sore and noticeably bigger, I wake up constantly in the middle of the night to pee and sometimes (not always) I get very bloated after food, I’ve also noticed I get hotter at night.

Yesterday I felt better and it made my anxious, not bloated at all and I feel quite energetic. I feel like I should be nauseous or more fatigued, could you share with me your experiences?

Thank you!

  • Symptoms - good, bad, non-existent - are NOT an indication of the health of your pregnancy.

They are how YOU react to the hormones and do not indicate if the baby is doing well or not. They can come and go, never come, never go...you can have bad ones and miscarry or none and have a healthy pregnancy. Or anywhere in between.

Plus, they can really suck. I’d try not to wish for them.

    Best of luck!

I really appreciate your message, you are right. After my MMC my breast hurt for a few weeks after, so I guess it really can’t tell you much.

I puked for weeks and everyone was telling me how the nausea/puking was a good sign and then I found out he'd passed away 3 weeks prior...I was puking for no damn reason and it meant nothing.

My bff didn't even know she was pregnant til 16 weeks and never had a minute of nausea.

    I promise - symptoms aren't a reliable health indicator! <3

Thank you so much, I really appreciate this. So sorry for your losses ❤️‍🩹

  • My only symptom until 20 weeks was less hunger. A few times sore breasts, but only for a day or 2 and it would be gone again. It was a bit frightening in the beginning, but now I appreciate how lucky I have been

Thank you for sharing! I hope that’s my case. Both my mom and my sister told me they never had nausea and their symptoms were mild, I hope it’s just genetic or something 😅 I find it hard not to panic because with my MMC my breast pain stopped and I didn’t have any symptoms.

Yeah my mother and grandmother also didn't have many symptoms. There must be some genetics in there

With my miscarriages I actually had more symptoms, so no idea how any of this works 😅

So confusing! I guess being able to be so informed or google anything nowadays is both a blessing and a curse lol I keep finding a lot of mixed answers

Yes! The same with early tests. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't even have known about the second miscarriage, it would have been a slightly late period, which happens

Exactly the same for me! I was already spotting so i thought it was my period, I had a dream a voice told me to take a test so I did and that’s why I realized I was having a chemical. If it was not for the dream, and the sensitive tests, I would have never known. I kind of wish I didint sometimes 😅

  • I had sore breasts until 10ish weeks, gagging at cold air hitting my face during the whole winter months. Then morning sickness hit at 16 weeks and never went away until I had her. 😅

My MC, I had no appetite and sore breasts.

Symptoms don’t determine the outcome of a pregnancy. Same goes as gut feelings. I had dreams of MC my daughter and I’d have doom and gloom feelings all the time. She’s 6 months old. ALSO, 3 days after I had her, I still had a dream I MC her. 😅

    Good luck!

Thank you so much! You are right, I also get so worried about “gut feelings”, specially since I’ve never had a dream of me pregnant or having a child, I usually dream I’m taking care of someone else’s kid, I guess that’s more a representation of my anxiety than the future.

  • I never had any nausea or vomiting, but the fatigue kicked in around weeks 6-8! My boobs started getting sore around that time, and I was extremely bloated right at week 4. But those were my only symptoms, I thought I should be feeling more too but stronger symptoms are not indicative of a “healthier” pregnancy!

Thank you for sharing! Yes, I feel like I should feel more pregnant? Does that makes sense? And then any pregnancy symptoms I get I question if they are just in my head.

Makes total sense! I was doing the same thing, I had an ectopic before this current pregnancy so I was convinced that something was wrong again because I didn’t have all the typical pregnancy symptoms.

  • My friend didn’t have one symptom.

Thank you! I tend to compare myself to the ones that had a lot of symptoms but actually one of my closest friends didn’t even know she was pregnant until she was like 4 months pregnant lol. So she clearly has no symptoms

I am the opposite I developed a condition so severe I need a nurse to come to the house every other day with IVs to feed and hydrate me as I can’t eat or drink I get so so so sick. But I know how stressful it can be without symptoms

Omg that sounds horrible, I’m so sorry!
