Back in 2020, I had to hunker down with my family in Texas, and I got to reconnect with my cat Brigit, who had become vocal in her old age.

Aww this reminds me of whenever I go to visit my parents and see my calico Minx. She's still the closest with me and it broke my heart when I moved out of my parents (didn't want to take her because my dad would have been depressed and Minx loves the dogs there) and I'm so happy that she's still that attached to me. She's an old lady now at 18 but still chats with me whenever I go back despite being pretty quiet with everyone else.

In truth, the year I was down there, she got her health and vitality back. The vet said he couldn’t believe it was the same cat. But once I moved back to now-home, and she was under my parents’ care exclusively, she degraded. Died a few months later.😢
