  • I feel exactly the same way. I don't even know why. I fancy doing something nice for someone today.

I really find this helps me too - not just connecting with someone else but focusing on their needs. I used to do a lot of volunteering, but haven’t had the opportunity lately. Definitely a good one to help my mental health.

  • Yeah. I get that. Some days carry extra weight for no clear reason, and just making it through is enough. I hope tomorrow feels softer for you too.

  • It's memories in my case. Some days I just wake up and my brain keeps letting out old memories for no reason and they're in the back of my head all the time then, and it weighs me down.

Thank you for your kind words 😊

  • Yep this definitely resonates. I hear you re the darker days. I think I find that on the days I least feel like it or least want to, connection with others helps me a lot, even if just with the online community. I dunno I guess feeling heard helps me. And so does connecting here on Reddit. This and having a nice walk in nature. And some deep breaths (I always thought this was so cliché. I’ve now discovered that breath-work actually saves my mental health, particularly the physiological breath (this excellent breath-work teacher online explains it so well in a short vid). https://insig.ht/EFKMpbeI5Yb

(this isn’t me trying to give advice to anyone - simply sharing what works for me as I have been struggling lately. My online communities have really saved me).

  • Felt. Hope you get some ease soon.

  • Exactly this for me too. Hoping tomorrow will be better!
