I'm not that old. I'm only in my 40s but I moved to a new place that has stairs and I like to walk up them all. Fours. Not when other people are around but in the middle of the night when I have to go downstairs to the kitten I kind of like crawling around like a ninja.
The safest way 👍 especially for nocturnal prowling around
I am old (65f) and I almost always crawl up my stairs on all fours. My stairs are very steep up to my second floor and it just feels like the natural way to climb them. I've been doing it that way for years but I'm not that stealthy about it. I've shown all my grandkids how to do it and now they climb them that way, too. I draw the line at climbing down that way, though. That's what handrails are made for.
I think your safety is the most valuable thing. It’s working for you, and that’s awesome. Rather be a cat than fall and hurt yourself.
this is oddly wholesome..
doing small, silly movements when no one is watching is peak quiet joy. no audience, no reason, just because you can. midnight ninja mode for the kitten makes it even better 🥷
The stealthy joy of stairs is a whole mood.
There is a lady in the uk that does this thing called quadrobics! She is so graceful on all fours, it’s fascinating!
I do the same.
This is fun. Keep it up!👍
Hey safety first I support it.
I do this all the time but accidentally did it at someone else's home once. I'm not sure if they noticed but I tried to play it off, and it still haunts me to this day lol.
You're hilarious. Sounds like amusing exercise.
