I am not going to say "good idea" poorly executed, as the idea was never good. But it was plausible, it was organised in such way that it could have succeeded if execution wasn't that hopeless. And it was as hopeless as it gets.
Also, I have a question - let's say they succeeded the jump... what is next? Car stuck on the building?
