Yall can cheer about no SEC team in the natty for 3 years in a row all you want. All I care about is that I just witnessed my team put together their best season in my lifetime, and it was so much fun. I'm so incredibly proud of that team. Even in the end it was so close, just a play away from a national title appearance.

  • If my team played a game like Ole Miss in the CFP semifinal I'd be thrilled (like a week after)

I told myself if we lost that game at the end, I couldn't even be mad. Obviously heartbroken. But it's our best season in 20+ years and the Rebels played a hell of a game.

Y'all simply outplayed and outcoached us. Dropping picks, having Carson Beck miss wide open reads and easy passes, we didn't deserve for it to be as close as it was. I thought we could have forced and won overtime, but y'all stepped up to the moment.

They dropped at least 4 picks. We got very lucky with that. They deserved it as much as I hate to say. Great season (from both teams) and I’m gonna need some time to process this lol

Both teams made mistakes and both teams made incredible plays. I can't get behind saying "well if they'd gotten those easy picks the game wouldn't be close". Well they didnt get those picks and thats why the game is played on the field. Rebels played a helluva game and no one on either team has anything to be ashamed of. I was pulling for you guys but without a dog in the fight I just wanted to see good football and yall delivered 100%.

    Also, fuck Lane Kiffin.

I am 100% behind the sentiment expressed here, also, obviously, fuck Lane Kiffin.

Don't be fooled! We were stressing it and our cheeks were so clenched you could take a piece of coal and turn it into a diamond. That said, stressing and doubting are two different things. I truly believed we'd score and win, but that came literally down to the wire.

THIS IS HOW THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS SHOULD LOOK!

Oh I have no doubts yall were clenched tight, as any fan should be in tough, high stakes games. As a non-combatant, I couldn't have been happier. That game was awesome. With Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State out there are no "bad guys" left to root against for me. I just want good hard football where no one gets hurt. GG 'canes bro

That game was never going to overtime, Miami would have been stupid to leave the game in the hands of that kicker

You really think if Beck didn’t score on 3rd down they wouldn’t have tried kicking a 25 yard field goal?

You think Ole Miss was stopping Fletcher on 4th and 3? You think if we drew up a bubble screen to Toney they’d be able to make a tackle in space? They hadn’t done so all night. Miami’s defense started getting hurt, and Ole Miss was heating up.

Same. If we lost, really hoped our fans wouldn’t whine and bash them. Ole Miss really competed and overcame a lot of nonsense this season. Starting with the HC quitting because he didn’t believe in the programs ability to compete. I think the better team won and will enjoy it

I did my undergrad at LSU, I was hoping Ole Miss would win it all just for the AMAZING stories next year everytime LSU was playing. It would have been hilarious

how did their fucking receivers catch EVERYTHING

BC they're really fucking gud! hats off to Ole miss, but fuck Lane and the SEC, lol

The pain still hurts a little but I was thrilled seeing my team perform well in a quarterfinal. Ole Miss should hold their heads high after going even farther without their coach

Man, you guys should’ve won that game. Was really rooting for Leavitt because I was convinced he was the future at MSU, then Jonathan Smith brought in Aiden “Poop” Chiles.

You’d be surprised how not fun it is to watch your team lose a semifinal at the last moment.

I've watched the Steelers and Penguins lose some games/series on that level, I know how it feels.

It's so hard to climb the mountain, any time you get close to that peak it feels like such a missed opportunity to not get all the way.

You’ll always wonder what if, but it’s still a great game and great accomplishment. I’m still upset that Iowa didn’t win the big ten in 2015, but it was such a good game I’m happy with how far we got

Someday our chaos team will get back there.

  • All respect to Ole Miss, hell of a game.

Back at you. Hell of a talented team you guys have.

I don’t recall the last time I saw a team play with as much gusto as Ole Miss has their last two games, nevermind dealing with the HC being an asshole and half the coaching staff working part time.

Kudos to y’all! I’m excited to watch Trinidad play again next year. What a neat person.

    They fought like hell.

It’s criminal that Lane’s drama kept people from talking about how fun and good this team was.

You guys came to close to going to the Natty! Congrats on the great season!!

For real… despite the defense and run D/tackling woes, Chambliss is a fucking gamer. His level of clutch was fun as hell to watch.

Replay that 10 times and it’s probably a dead split. Not thrilled about the mugging at the end but realistically that’s just how things go sometimes. You guys played a great game.

OSU said this and I told them to eat shit. In this case it is very true.

Yep, OSU was unable to match superior physicality all season so I don't see them doing any different in a rematch. Fuck playing Ole Miss again, we pulled that one out and I don't want to see them again this season, those boys can ball!

Yeah, you can’t lose by two scores and claim that. You guys played super hard and looked extremely focused and locked in: very impressed.

They’re not going to call pass interference on the last play of the game most of the time.

  • Trinidad is a warrior and Ole iss team is tough as nails. Respect

I’m kinda surprised he’s trying to get another year? This QB class isn’t good and he really performed.

Is the view that he just doesn’t have the arm ala Jordan Travis pre-injury grades?

A lot of mock drafts have him going really late. I agree though there’s about 7 teams who need a qb and after the first two it’s a big drop off.

The dude has grit. Can't teach that

I've heard that if you're not a first rounder (especially as a QB) it's better to stay in college for financial reasons. If he gets another year, I am sure Ole Miss will drop a fuckin dump truck of money on him.

Getting additional reps in college definitely has a correlation with longevity in the NFL, but of course no guarantee. When you're not a first round pick, you might not see the field much at all. Famous exceptions though.

But yeah, now college QBs can earn more than 3rd round draft picks.

Pick 33 makes about 2.5-3M per year. Based on numbers we’ve seen thrown around for worse QBs, he could make twice that this year

That man is already a folk hero in the State of Mississippi. He's almost certainly not an NFL QB, but he will live very comfortably as a God in Jackson.

Man idk. I hadn’t seen him play that much to be honest. But in the Georgia game he obviously had a bunch of heroic plays scrambling around, but his ball placement that day was impeccable. Not only hitting the receiver, but putting the ball exactly where it had to be, leading the receivers into space, etc. I was blown away. That was only the second game I’ve seen of his. last night wasn’t quite as good but he’s still a great college player. I would take a flyer on him past the 3rd round in the NFL

I also don't know if I am just judging it poorly because I watched 3 games of Philip Rivers recently, but he seemed to have a pretty strong arm about it, too.

If I was the jets I’d impulse pick him. He has all the moxie the lights are never too bright

    Fuck it, I’m down

There's been some concern about his arm strength and downfield accuracy all year, which is part of the reason Ole Miss has doubled down on the up-tempo quick throw offense- because that's the throws he can consistently make good decisions and throws with. If he doesn't win the appeal and goes to the draft, though, I can see him succeeding in a lower pick where he has the chance to grow.

He's looked the best out of any QB I've seen this season. He makes a lot of good tight throws.

  • I'm making fun of the SEC for being bad, as it is, but Ole Miss won 13 games including winning the Sugar Bowl. That Sugar Bowl trophy will stay in the trophy room forever and Ole Miss fans should 100% be very proud of their season.

Winning the Sugar Bowl in such a magnificent way - especially considering all the shit they had to deal with in Oxford - is a remarkably resilient showing!

    ‘Twas a good run indeed…

    And against Kirby.

    Lane still hasn't beat Kirby.

    Except for last year lol.

    Thanks. Love your flairs

Ole Miss was anything but "bad".

They were energetic amazing all season.

I'm so happy Miami got a W over a team this 🔥 its nothing but respect.

We were supposed to finish at like 9-3 according to the media back in July. 13-2 and tied for third in the nation ain’t too bad of a season if you ask me.

There’s not an SEC team that can say a fucking thing to you for a whole god damn year

We won the season series by combined score lol. Would love to play a hypothetical best of 7, both games were a blast

I don't know, I saw an LSU fan bringing up wins from 15 years ago.

Well, they can and will but we will all laugh our asses off at them and be happy we don't have to play them again.

The final rankings will probably have you at 4, but nothing wrong with 4.

Where do I get some of that? Asking for a lot of friends

    Hello, friend.

FSU would suck in any conference

Was unbelievably fun to watch, all year. I’ll never forget those Chambliss plays and game winning FG.

Hi fellow nole here who is also a dawg. Laughable to shit on SEC in your position. Maybe just leave it at that”I respect ole miss” otherwise it looks desperate.

  • I am proud of this team. Dealt with an insurmountable amount of bullshit for WEEKS. Had their coaches quit on them. Still fought to the last second and never made excuses. Had one less day of rest. Had a OC on double time duty. Yet this team was one drive away.

OC on double time with a head coach trying to figure out who was going to coach wrs, tes, navigate his first portal as hc, and gameplan as the DC. Hats fuckin off to Pete Golding, hats off to all of the leadership on this team.

It was hard not to root for you guys. Fuck Lame, still hasn't won a CFP game and hope he never will

I have a lot of respect for Ole Miss. Miami was clearly more talented, but they hung in there and almost pulled it off.

Amazing to go as far as they did with after the coach literally abandoned them and took some of the staff.

You should be- fuck your former coach, you guys deserved better and proved it on the field

  • Ole miss did so well! You guys gotta be proud

  • Hold your heads high dog. One hell of a season for you guys and fought hard to the very end

What a battle. A full 60 minute back and forth heavy weight fight. Miami had just a little more fuel in the tank.

  • Thanks to both Miami and ole Miss for such an entertaining game. Both teams deserved to win.

Enjoy the best season of your lives, ole Miss fans. Maybe next year yall will do even better.

  • I would like to see targeting rules looked at. There were 2 calls tonight that aren’t in the spirit of the rule. The first was rightfully picked up as it was just 2 guys contesting a pass. The second was an offensive player that was changing levels. Neither of those should get a flag. There was never an attempt to “target” an opponent.

I would like to see the removal from the game after the second targeting, not the first. It too easy to do it by accident.

You could have an ejection for flagrant targeting. Like head to head contact leading with the crown of the helmet.

The only thing they got the 2nd one was he launched, if it wasn't for that it's picked up

I think they actually got him for the defenseless receiver, which is strict liability and doesn’t require a launch. Cayden Lee is a magnet for those because he’s short and gets into a ball on his way down

Looking at those plays in slow motion isn't fair to the defender. In a play like that there's just no way for the defender to know that the WR is going to end up in that position. If the WR isn't stumbling then it's a solid tackle at waist level.

I could probably live with the penalty, but it sucks for the kid to get ejected and miss the first half of the title game.

If it were just a 15 yard penalty, people would roll their eyes and move on.

The ejection part is where it’s messed up.

It's certainly a deterrent. But it feels like we need to levels of targeting. Because it seems like intent should matter here.

Targeting is the worst rule in major organized sports. It's just a bad and embarrassing rule

Tell me you didn’t play interior football for 15 years of your life without telling me…

Is it hard to enforce uniformly? Yes. Is it among the necessary changes to the game in order for it to escape the same decline in participation as boxing over the long term? Also yes.

  • I REALLY hope Trinidad gets his waiver. That dude is so fun to watch and would be the Heisman favorite for next year.

  • Memorable season for the books. Congrats on your '25 season Ole Miss

  • Serious respect for the way Ole Miss kept it together with all the distractions going on and made it this far. It was a damn good game too.

  • 2 things can be true:

I love the fact that there is no SEC team in the Natty (and indeed with 5 SEC teams in the CFP they didn't win a single game against a non-SEC P4 conference team which really rustles my jimmies)

But also Ole Miss has a really awesome season. As a total bystander it feels like the best season I can remember from y'all in basically forever. It's cool to see the non-Georgias and Bamas of the world succeed even when they are in the evil empire conference lol

  • I'm a Penn State fan but I think Ole Miss had a great season and I really thought Chambliss was gonna win this one and then kick the snot outta Indiana for the natty

  • Such a great opponent, best of luck to Ole Miss in the future

  • Hell of a season.. Chambliss is an absolute monster.

  • Chambliss is one of the best QB's I've ever seen in college football. Accuracy, poise, and mobility is incredible. Just my 0.02.

  • Congrats ole Miss! A very likable team especially without the douchebag clown Kiffen no longer there. Hell of a season!

  • HYDR

So happy to have been a part of one of the best CFB storylines ever

  • Incredible season. If we lost i would have liked them to win it all.

  • You guys are so fucking good. One of the few SEC times I don't mind beating us. You guys should be enticing for recruits for next year. Awesome season Rebels!

  • Ole Miss had a great season and should absolutely be proud of what they accomplished.

  • You have absolutely nothing to defend and everything to be proud of. One of the best four teams in the nation this year and a play or two away from the national championship game, despite losing your coach. We are just busting balls about the SEC, most of us would be happy to see anyone except Alabama or Georgia in there.

  • You guys were so easy to root for as a neutral this year. Be proud of your season!

  • I only care about the success of my team, not the conference we are in. But I hope Indiana wins it all.

  • It's amazing how much they improved between the Egg Bowl in the playoffs. Not once was there a dipshit coach on the sideline that would rather bring a grocery basket home rather than pay 50 cents for a bag

Honestly I’m impressed with the reduction in penalties and increased discipline over the season. We went from ranking in the 100’s to just over top 50 in penalties per game.

  • Ole Miss has joined the eternal brotherhood of Kiffin-hating exes. There isn’t a lot of friendship, but we can all collectively root for his downfall. Looking forward to welcoming LSU in 2029

In my latest cfb dynasty kiffin ended up at USC. I just facepalmed as I saw it lmao

Wait… so is Lane Kiffen actually Ramona Flowers in disguise?!?!

Is LSU Scott Pilgrim, or just another ex to be?

It’ll be cool for 2 seconds and then we’ll hire whoever the most polarizing coach is in 2029 lol

  • What Ole Miss did was impressive especially since they’re coach left them before the playoffs, but I hate the SEC so I’m going to continue to be a hater lol.

  • It's special that sane and wholesome fans, such as yourself, exist.

  • Best Attitude Award goes to you! Historical season for the Rebels!

  • "Yall can cheer about no SEC team in the natty for 3 years straight all you want"

    AND I WILL

  • 100%!

Ole Miss my sort of second team due to family who attended and I watched their games as a kid.

If they won you better believe I'd be rooting for them in the NC game. Heroic effort, as was the case all season they played with heart and fire!

One of the greatest games I have ever seen.

Respect to Ole Miss and Ole Miss fans hang your heads high and F-LK 🔥

  • They had every reason to roll over and die these last few games, and never did. I know it sucks to lose, especially when they were so close, but y'all really should walk out of this with your heads held high.

  • This is the point of the playoffs, NIL, and the portal. I thought Ole Miss might pull that one out.

  • Man, I was rooting for Ole Miss v Indiana, and then may the best team win.

After you beat us like you did this season, been watching and rooting for you. As a new Ole Miss fan, watching this team this season has been really impressive.

I would be beyond thrilled if my Sooners could play like this team. Outstanding season in my book.

  • That game was incredible as a 3rd party with no rooting interest besides loving football.

If Missouri did that, I'd be super stoked. Props to the team, glad the fans got to experience it. I just don't like dynasties (odd for a Denver Broncos fan to say I know) and I like teams who haven't been there to get there. Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas are all SEC teams that wouldn't bother me if they got a shot at the top. Mississippi State, SC, UGA, UT, UT, OU, Alabama, Auburn can choke on a raw egg.

  • Y’all put together a great season and dealt with the coaching chaos better than anyone expected. I honestly think your AD should’ve let Kiffin coach the playoffs but I completely understand why they didn’t. That being said, I couldn’t be happier that y’all won’t be winning a championship and I hope that y’all return to the level of competitiveness of the pre-Kiffin era. To end with something nice, the way y’all have turned around your literacy rates in the state in the last decade has been nothing short of remarkable and I’d love it if the rest of the gulf coast would use it as an example for improving things so I can move back home from fucking California

  • Not sure why the other SEC flairs are entering the comments section when your team gave the conference half of their bowl wins.

Weird to be talking shit about flairs when you don’t even have one.

IU fan since '91. Post occasionally in the college basketball reddit (which admittedly has been terrible lately for us Hoosiers)

BECAUSE CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF WE ALL FUCKING HATE EACH OTHER AND WE AREN'T PART OF SOME CABAL

This Reddit circle jerk thinks sec teams are always rooting for other sec teams. The giant circle jerk that everyone in this sub does for the sec is insane.

I can think of one other flair that belongs here

Texas carrying the entire SEC postseason 2 years in a row lol

Because we don’t give a fuck about the other teams in our conference. I love how every other team shits on the sec pride narrative but then boasts about having a good bowl game record for there own conference

  • still kinda pissed about the no call on the hail mary but that’s not gonna change the call

  • I absolutely despise ole miss, for obvious reasons, but yall had a great season and it’s absolutely something to be proud of. Props.

  • Tremendous respect to ole Miss!

  • i have never.....in my life......ever........felt my heart beat like that

ole miss is legit and Chambliss is a stud, hell of a game

  • I think Trinidad needs to check his stock before continuing to try and get another year of eligibility. He’s looked like an absolute stud. I haven’t watched him all year but what is keeping him from being drafted high?

  • The problem for Trinidad Chambliss in the NFL is the NFL simply is not a league for off-schedule quarterback play anymore. Even Mahomes had his weapons go elsewhere or age out.

As I have said before, Sam Darnold at USC was well lauded for off-schedule big plays. And then he crashed hard in the NFL before learning how to run NFL offenses the NFL way. Now Sam Darnold is on Seattle where he hands the ball off and then on occasion has to make a good play from play action. Seattle does seem to have some well-designed rollouts off play action to help Darnold have time to find someone.

But NFL play action is not where off-scheduled quarterback play is needed or rewarded. So often I see young quarterbacks in play action either not try or try too hard and throw an interception or suffer a fumble.

There is basically no college program now where a quarterback in college is going to be asked to run an NFL type play action, taking the snap under center, turning one's back to the defense, and then picking up quickly whether one's deep target is open, or whether one needs to throw to a checkdown.

Also note that Darnold has prototypical NFL height and arm. Chambliss might have neither.

  • Man shout out to the team and its fans. Those boys are warriors.

  • It was a great game and definitely the best quarterback Miami faced all season. No shame in that loss.

  • unreal. We lost, but I'm still on cloud 9. best season in school history by a country mile, team played through crazy adversity. They played with heart every game and it fucking showed with electric performances in the best playoff games of the last few years, if not ever. Absolute A grade CFB, and it's my Rebs! Proud, stoked, and looking forward to next year!

  • Congrats Ole Miss. Heck of a run even with all that drama.

  • Ole Miss is straight up Legit! And you've got a baller at QB! Much respect!

  • Shades of the 2021 Raiders where they refused to die and fought on to the bitter end. Nothing but respect for them.

  • Congratulations for having one helluva team. Hope you guys ball out again next season... (that is until we play you)

  • People keep saying stuff like "things are ruined now because there used to be a lot of 'good seasons' but now there's only 1 good season and everyone else's season is a massive failure."

    However....

All I care about is that I just witnessed my team put together their best season in my lifetime, and it was so much fun. I'm so incredibly proud of that team.

The people saying that stuff are wrong and OP here's a great example of why.

  • Miami has the most respectful fans

Or maybe Im just used to CU fans throwing fucking batteries at players lmao

  • I only watched a few Ole Miss games this year, but my understanding was that their OLine wasn't anything spectacular. They played their fucking balls off last night. Was I mistaken before? Did they just have the game of their lives? Was there something unique happening scheme-wise up front?

  • NGL, I was rooting for you as a gigantic 'Fuck You' to Lane Kiffin for the shenanigans he pulled. Totally screwed at the end.

  • It really was the best season I've ever witnessed in my 30+ years of Rebel football, but...someone lend me a tissue here. Unfortunately, right now I can only feel immense sadness and know this game will haunt me for God knows long. It's just so different this time. I never really expected us to be in this position, and after that amazing Georgia game I got such a big dose of hope that's now bitten me harder in the heart than any other game. I'm devastated. I'm glad we at least went down fighting, but can someone tell the horrible voice in my head "This is close as you'll ever get" to shut the fuck up?

I dunno man, I went into the Sugar Bowl thinking Georgia would plow a scattered Ole Miss. Golding seems like the real deal and has experience under some great coaches. I gained a lot of respect for him in that game and I think he’s the right guy. Whether or not you’ll make it this far, I don’t know, but I’d be optimistic about the future after these 3 games.

  • yall are for real - not were, are. golding is gonna do just fine

I'd like the record to state that my first reaction after Beck ran it in was that Chambliss was gonna make it a game still

  • Chambliss is scary, and if they don’t give Golding the job you all should burn that place to the ground. Helluva show by a guy who never would’ve believed at the beginning of the year that he’d have the big headset on in a CFP semifinal. Much respect.

Golding was immediately hired as the full time head coach, no interim tag

  • If I'm LSU I'm wondering how in the hell Lane Kiffin didn't name Trinidad the starter off the jump and that's not a slight on Simmons

Hell of a game and tough not to root for them after the bullshit the coach that started the year with them put them through. Back to back games that will be memorable

  • GEAUX TO HELL OLE MISS!

  • Y’all did y’all thang! Respect!

  • Ole Miss gave us an all time classic CFP game, and for that we'll always be thankful

  • 6 is a fucking killer.

    ggs brother

  • Kiffen did a great job recruiting and coaching when the Admin allowed him to, and Golding did an excellent job with his opportunity. Happy for a great season!

  • TBF I don't even consider Ole Miss part of the "lol SEC", that's like 90% making fun of Bama

  • Ole Miss should, in fact, be 100% proud. It's good for teams to not be "championship or bust".

  • Many in this sub absolutely cannot tolerate other teams' fans being happy about their season. Every single team that doesn't win the championship is a complete fraud and so is their conference 🙄

  • Am I the only one who thinks the whole coaching change situation is way overblown? Kiffin wanted to stay through the season.

But because it’s Kiffin he’s the one being shamed for taking a better gig. I really don’t get it.

  • Rotten no call at the end. UM was hanging all over the WR.

Everybody would have said "omg of course refs want to give the SEC team another chance" but yeah, that was mega pass interference.

  • Ole Miss isn't the part of the SEC that most people are cheering for their downfall haha. Once we got to the Semis I was honestly fine with any team winning.

  • Got to see the Sugar Bowl live. Walked down to Bourbon Street after with thousands of Ole Miss fans. They were selling Fuck Kiffin t-shirts in the streets. After that, I was happy with whatever happened next. HYDR.

  • Rooted for you guys hard. Come up just short. I was pissed you guys didn’t spy the heck of Beck with the way he beats us with his legs

  • Love yalls QB. One of the best 4th quarters I've watched in a while. Definitely hold your heads up high Rebels!

  • Trust me from experience it’s a great feeling to have the entire nation watching your team play for a national title regardless of the result. Losing when coming so close blows but not a lot of programs get to experience that. Enjoy it while it lasts because who knows what’s gonna come next year. It’s a lot easier to watch as a neutral fan but when your team is playing in it it’s a different experience.

  • Respect to Ole miss. Good showings out there. Hell of a season except the Lane Kiffin saga.

  • I came away very impressed by your team. The interim coach and staff did a fantastic job. Cheers!

  • Hell of a season, Ole Miss. Most of us can only dream of our team making it to the semifinals in our lifetimes. Cherish the memories!

  • That FG in the last minutes of the game against Georgia couldn't have came up at a better time!

  • It was a very close game that came down to the wire. I was hoping they would score, but I am still happy they made it that far. Very nice year for the Rebels.

  • I don’t think anyone has anything against Ole Miss, to be honest.  I’m no expert but way back in October I called Indiana and Ole Miss the two most complete teams in the nation. Without your coaching chaos, tonight might have been a different outcome.  Rebel Nation had an incredible year and should be proud of their accomplishments. And, if your QB returns, he’s got to be a Heisman front-runner out of the gate. Congrats.

  • This was a great showing and a great game! Overcoming losing your HC and making it to the semifinals while also giving us a close, entertaining game should be commended

  • And with your headcoach leaving before the playoffs. Amazing season if you ask me. Y'all should be thrilled! Hell of a game too!

  • I been dunking on the SEC for all year mainly for getting 5 teams in when Bama had no business being there but Ole Miss deserved it and had true heart. I was rooting for Miami but it was one of those games you hate to someone lose. That team didn't need Kiffin and I think this antics put a chip on their shoulder

  • Gamecock

As a fan of a team that will never really be a competitor for a Natty I was bummed for the Miss fans but also happy y’all got to experience that run. I think they have a good chance to get back next year but really don’t know the make up of the team. Hope Trinidad gets another year, he’s fun to watch.

  • Ole Miss gets a pass because it was glorified home game for them and they aren’t a tshirt fan college

  • Trinidad is a stud and hope the best for him. Can’t say a bad thing about him or Ole Miss. Great game and an instant classic.

  • Congrats on a great season!

  • Your defense was outstanding and Chambliss and Lacy were also outstanding.

  • congratz man! what a season for yall. im happy you enjoyed it! we had a great game in the sugar bowl. keep yall head up and we will see you in the fall

  • Only thing I wish that game had different, is that amazing one handed Miami grab, had been the final play of the game for the hail mary, cause that would have been the perfect ending (how close it was) to such an amazing game. Game will be one I rewatch every year, joining some amazing classics

  • Nah we’re all happy for you guys and I wished you had won, even if it meant the no SEC stroke got broken. Continuing your Cinderella season and the eternal humiliation of Lane Kiffin was more important lol.

Here’s hoping you keep this momentum into next season.

  • It was such a great season and the team should be really proud. I’m not sure any other team could rebound after their head coach left right after the playoff games began.

  • The last few seasons, even going back to Corral have been pretty fun to follow Ole Miss.

I’m not sure if it’s a hot take or not but I think last years team was better even with the bad losses, and would have given anyone a tough game in the playoffs.

  • Yep. This playoff is weird in that by the semis, I like the story of all the remaining teams. Hard to “hate” anyone out of this lot.

  • Hats off to Ole Miss.

  • What a game, too.

  • Hey I was pulling for y’all after we got knocked out. Hope we can continue our new rivalry for years to come. Also fuck Kiffin that is all

  • While I am happy to see an SECless natty again if it were to have happened I would have been thrilled for Ole Miss. You guys had an incredible season and have started an interesting conversation about balance in the SEC.

To say nothing of showing Kiffin that the magic didn't need him to be there.

Best of luck next year and if the SEC ends up in the 2026 season championship game I would not be disappointed to see those light blue jersey's on the field.

Lastly, I know who I am cheering for on Sep 19th. Crush 'em.

  • I hope you guys dominate the SEC and LSU in particular for years to come.

  • Yup, incredible season. Congrats Ole Miss! Way to achieve, with a first time head coach, more than Lane ever has!

  • If they’d been loyal to the coach who brought them to this point, they probably would have had a better chance. Instead, they decided that being petty meant more to them than winning. They have a lot to learn about loyalty.

    GEAUX TIGERS

  • Was so unbelievably fun to watch

  • Enjoy it because you may never be back.

  • They were awesome. Fun team.

Honestly, this has been a banger of a playoff full of fun teams and incredible performances (of course I'm biased in this assessment)
