This is my first ever post but I had to figure out if anyone just saw what looked like a shooting star but way brighter and moved way faster across the sky tonight Saturday evening just after midnight.
“Shooting stars” are just meteors burning up in the earth’s atmosphere. Larger meteors can produce brighter flares. So while what you saw could have appeared brighter than any shooting star you’ve ever seen, brightness alone does not mean it was anything else.
