Hi everyone. I have a question for all moms out there who have tried 2d/3d ultrasounds. I just had one today and wanted to know how accurate they are. Has anyone ever had one and it turned out to be the opposite gender???
Should be accurate! For extra piece of mind, ask if your doctor offers a scan for this. Mine does because she wants to avoid people going to boutiques.
For my first baby, the anatomy scan at 20 weeks told us they were 70% sure it was a girl, but they couldn’t be completely sure. We paid for an extra scan and they confirmed girl. I was bummed because I’d been hoping for a boy, that’s why I paid for the extra scan. I had hoped that the first scan was wrong, but they did good.
I have 4 kids total and the other three were all done at 15 weeks and they were able to accurately see the sex.
How many weeks are you?
17 weeks
