I find the current anniversary artwork to be cute and fun but I still find the 5th anniversary one better. Not to mention where you would scroll horizontally in 5 sections since the art was made that way so it’s what makes it cooler
Ikr it looks way more detailed and atmospheric imo, they could’ve maybe stick to side scrolling art that was separated in 5 images but I guess this feels rushed
Reminder that not too long ago they announced the use of AI in their games.
Funny to think how a lot of modern female brawlers have the same body design since Janet and Melodie exploded in popularity and has been criticized for lack of variety and soul, especially Mandy and Juju.
That's why they're obscured by the core community, like the content creators and the competitive fanbase. I guess they have to utilize AI to compensate this issue, as it's like escaping the problem instead of fixing it, which is depressing.
Maybe that's just whole another story, but I still say that 5th anniversary is way better than the 7th one. It's a great time to appreciate this artwork because it exists as in the future where it has like 250 or more brawlers, they wouldn't fit in the whole screen.
A nice touch they've put into the work, but as someone who has been following for the dynamic of my favorite trio which is the candyland, it felt like a nothingburger to me aside from the celebration of the game's anniversary.
We're already aware of their love-hate relationship, yet they keep referring the same thing in this month, a lot since this year, and I'm starting to get tired of it.
Both are good, I really like the way they split the 5th's full image, it's very cute.
But I think the new one better displays the characters' dynamics compared to the 5th where it's just kinda random. and I have a soft spot for "where's waldo" type images(if you look close enough you can see a tease for two of the new brawlers)
Well ppl can have their different opinions, so I’m stating that I still like the 5th more than the 7th one. Also 2025 is like the worst year for me as a main of my favorite brawler as 2024 was the greatest due to mix of good reputation and meta positioning.
Game wise, 2025 is a bit bad compared to 2024 due to the decisions and events that affects the fun factor of BS, like overuse of FOMO events and changes or removal of core features
Even in a few years, it was way different from today. Seasons used to last 2 months, assassins weren’t dominating the meta, and hypercharges weren't one tap win button.
Makes me guess that they're not going to make an anniversary artwork in the future when the game has like 250 brawlers or more because they would not all fit in the screen lol
Or maybe they still keep it going by putting some that are well liked and loved by the community and exclude the ones that are treated more like a “placeholder” and forgotten.

real ones remember this masterpiece
how bro has me feeling
Calm before the storm
Remember when we were freaking out about Emz having a crush on Poco???
OH... MY... GOD!
Well, at least the game experienced its golden age that we will never go back
This was like yesterday...
Put that in the perspective, 1st anniversary was in December 2019, the same month COVID-19 was first reported
Damn
it's been that long??? 😭
Wow, I have been in Brawl Stars for 6 years now.
OHHH YEAH that one was so cool. love the colors
Ikr it looks way more detailed and atmospheric imo, they could’ve maybe stick to side scrolling art that was separated in 5 images but I guess this feels rushed
Reminder that not too long ago they announced the use of AI in their games.
reminder that they have way more brawlers now than they did two years ago and also frank debunked the use of ai in the art department

what are you talking about????? this is about the anniversary artworks???

thats what i said
you’re stretching this too hard
I think so 🤷
Frank clarified that it won't be for anything creative wise.
I like the 5th anniversary one but I really like how the new one show the dynamics of all the trios in one image

definitely 💯 fighting moving arts are fun

Wait, it's been 2 years already??
Time flies maybe?

bro didnt even bother to put the best part of the image (the one with sprout)

💔
I couldn't fit all of five in one but you get what I mean 😅
ngl I'm generally a sucker for nostalgia but this new one is pretty goated
zooming in and going through the Brawlers, thinking about the memories I've had with (most of) them is a really fun experience
i started playing several years before i was even a teenager and I'm gonna be an adult next year.. damn
the game has had its ups and downs but it's been an extremely significant part of my childhood
Adding a lot of Brawlers was a bad idea
Makes me guess that they're not going to make an anniversary artwork in the future when the game has like 250 brawlers or more because they would not all fit in the screen lol

They told that they will add only 0.2k brawlers
0.2k is such a weird way to express a quantity I love it
