Depends when you last tried, shad got a major update (technically I think its still pre release but its easily accessible in app) a month or so ago that made bloodborne performance significantly better. It still takes a little tweaking plus the vertex explosion fix mod, but once you set it up it runs almost perfectly now a days
Just finished a play through including dlc on an lcd steamdeck, 50 - 60 frames 720p patch, some stutters and crashes every hour on average, sometimes a bit more frequent. 2x Lossless scaling improved it significantly.
There was a significant performance improvement back during the v0.12.6 pre-release timeframe. I don't know of it was optimizations or not, but the emulator only uses about 50% of my GPU now instead of 85%. There are still stutters from area loads and shader compilation, but those have been reduced due to the new shader cache system
I'm able to play the game at a mostly solid 60fps at 1440p since one of the more recent updates, before I was lucky to get that at 1080p. I'm using a recent diegolix build, specifically "BBFork-shadps4-win64-qt-2025-12-29-dbe2629" if that's helpful, it works better for me than whatever the latest official build was at the time.
Do you have flagship pc -
If yes then it will stutter way less than AAA ue5 game
If not then you have to use mods and play at lower resolution and fps drops
I think it doesn't matter what PC you have, there will always be some stuttering or frame rate drops. However, if you do it right and choose the right updates, patches, and mods, it's more than playable. There are bugs; some puddles, like the ones in Yarnan's Shadows, glitch for me, but it's very enjoyable.

Vertex fix isn't needed but you need read backs to fix with hit performance harder if enabled so it's a trade.

That 50-60 fps, you keep mentioned about it in the same breath as LS, so, are those the base fps?

I played the entire game + DLC recently. Still had some FPS drops and crashes, but it was much better compared to a few months ago.

No.
