Has anyone found an alternative to these metal hair clips? They are a pain and tend to burn clients under the dryer, especially when starting locs on short hair.
I found a set of plastic clips, but a review said they don't hold our hair well
I personally do the loop method. Retwist and do a swoop motion with your hand at the top of the lock and it creates a temporary loop in the loc acting like a clip.
If you don’t like that, interlocking would eliminate the clips as well.
