I’ve used creme of nature shampoo the entire time along with the deep conditioner. Camilla rose moisture milk or “shea moisture” daily moisture for a leave in (one or the other, never both). Amla oil mixed with castor oil to seal the moisture on the strands. Castor oil for my scalp
You’re welcome & Thanks!! I was washing every weekend but I cut it back to every two weeks bc I usually keep my hair covered 99% of the time and keep it in 8 big twist. I never get braids just bc I want to avoid tension styles and also, I only use heat once a month (if that often).
I forgot to add that I just recently started clarifying with Doux Break Down once a month and that made a huge difference.
Same with washing. I started to cut back because it was drying my hair out and I think my hair likes being left alone. But since I cut it it’s growing but it’s not many styles I feel comfortable with. I’ve been wanting to try that Doux. I’m glad you’re recommending it!
Every weekend just got a bit expensive for me 🫠…also, not sure if it’s necessary, but right after I wash my hair with the doux, I’ll wash it once with a moisturizing shampoo (the crème of nature I use), just to “remoisturize” it right then

Thanks for being very detailed! Your hair looks so healthy. What style did you do and how often did you wash it?
