Ive seen a lot of talk about bb22 and im almost done with bb21, so now im VERY worried to watch bb22.

  • I noped out pre-jury. Came back for the triple, noped back out. Did not even watch the finale.

The first few weeks of feeds with Janelle and Kaysar in the house were pretty sweet, though.

Agreed on all points. Janelle and Kaysar moments are pretty much the only thing I remember about this season in any sort of positive way. Once Janelle was gone, I stopped watching and stopped following altogether when Kaysar immediately followed. A season with Kaysar, Ian, Daniele, Janelle, Day, Kevin, and Keesha seemed too good to be true, and turns out it kinda was.

  • 0 genuinely the worst season of the show and its not even close. So god damn boring.

  • Easy 1. As someone who has watched every season in full, this was the first one I couldn’t force myself through. Truly says something considering the likes of seasons like 15 & 19 lol.

And the fact that it had some people I was truly excited to see makes it even more disappointing. I really hoped it would be great.

The racism sucks in season 15 but the actual gameplay itself is entertaining

Yupp, and both can be true

    I couldn’t force myself through

SAME! I’ve tried to watch it maybe 3 times over the years, but I really can’t get past week 2… It’s. So. Boring. Even reading about daily highlights back then was boring.

I truly would have rathered 10 Gina Marie’s over bb22 cast as a whole

  • 1

Imo it is the worst BB season. The whole thing is a disaster. I wont spoil what happens during the season itself but will point out how frustrating it was watching live. From the live premiere we get multiple malfunctions like in the hoh comp to the have not door getting jammed. This is just episode 1. Then the rest of the season is a slog of the worst possible outcome from an entertainment perspective.

BB All Stars 2 was built up for years and we got this shit. (excuse my language). BB22 might be the worst all star season of any show ever. At some point I just started rooting for BB21 David so there could be hope that MAYBE something was shaken up. (David was clueless btw)

Every hg was a shell of themselves. The feeds were like somebody pulling your hairs out slowly.

  • 2, I personally couldn't make it through. I give it a low rating because I found it to be very predictable, which was such a let down bc I was incredibly excited by this cast.

  • I just finished that season last weekend and it was BRUTAL…. I kept it on in the background whenever I did chores and it still took me forever to finish it it was that bad lol

    I’d rate it a 1

  • It was played precisely and perfectly by the winner. As game theory, it's incredible.

As entertainment? I'd rather go through watching Michie win again.

(To be clear, Michie is my least favorite winner)

  • It’s horrible

  • 1 - maybe a 2 on rewatch. But being disappointed real time, and during a super bleak time in society, was unbearable. Each week was so predictable

  • It’s a hard 1. If you really want to watch, I’d recommend watching “BB22 in 10 minutes” on YouTube. There are videos that speed run through the entire season into 10-20 mins… Any other season is worth watching in full.

  • The BB22 all star cast votes out all your favorites but not in the fun, Chilltown sort of way. Could be the most hated season and idk if it’s even close.

  • Pure torture. Just awful.

  • It’s genuinely awful, it’s so boring, you could’ve predicted who won after the first HOH.

  • Just be happy You're not watching Live lol

  • Is that all stars 2? I made it to week 3 and couldn't make it further. If it bores you just go to the next season cause all the next ones are really good.

    Calling 25 good is a stretch😭

The prejury was great but then cirie got stuck in a kayak and it all went downhill

I agree that the endgame is atrocious but I think it’s easy to forget how great 25 was for the first half. The first six weeks of 25 is the best BB I’ve seen live, bar none. 26 and 27 are much better, but 25 doesn’t deserve to be in the same conversation as the truly bad seasons (1, 16, 19, 22, etc.)

Except that one lol. I made my sister skip that season.

  • It’s a 1/10 season. A complete chore to watch as barely anything is happening the entire time. Doesn’t help that the boot order is atrocious to the point where most of the unlikeable people make it deep into the game. Boring to the max.

  • I’m from Australia and I binged all BBUS seasons during the 2020 lockdown, 22 was the only one I took a break from while watching it.

  • It's really not good. I would accept 1-3 as reasonable answers 😂

  • 2, but watching it live is a 1. I think the only saving grace of this season is that this season has exactly 1 good episode.

  • I feel like everything that could have gone wrong with this season did, in the worst way possible, every single week. All the legends we were excited to see got evicted pre-jury, and the few that did stick around either ruined their legacies (lookin at you Kevin & Dani) or stood no chance against the 10 person pre-game alliance that won every single competition (except for exactly 1 veto that Da’Vonne won, which ultimately had no effect on anything).

The ONLY good thing to come out of this season was the AFP winner imo

  • I think it's funny how a good majority of the fandom agrees this is one of the worst seasons across all social media (and i agree). I feel bad for production because on paper the cast was actually good. When it comes to multiple players returning pregaming is bound to happen......the problem for me is that they didn't play like it was allstars and had the nerve to be the most boring power alliance we ever saw. I dont like bb19 but atleast they were willing to yell at each other. Bb16 also had a mostly boring cast but even they were morr entertaining to watch at times 😭

I don't blame Production, they delivered. I blame Josh && Kaycee for being idiots, partying ahead the game, with them there .. No Committee, Tyler-Christmas have relationships other than the House alliance, Josh protects Janelle, that s16 clique is way less powerful

Like the players in the power alliance were so disappointing. Especially a certain 3 people who should've came in with something to prove 😒

    1. I don't even consider it a real season. Pre-game alliance basically running the game. Again, not a real season. Idc what anyone says.

I agree, the pre-gaming & BB politics sucked the life & fun out of it. waste of a season.

It’s not just the pre-game alliance/pre-determined strategy, it’s that the pre-game alliance/strategy were also devised by the most boring, uninteresting winner we’ve ever had (Derrick’s a phenomenal player, there’s no question he deserved his win, but he’s also one of the most unenjoyable/dull winning players we’ve ever had).

At least 16 had some mess and drama to make it interesting to balance out Derrick’s “determine the second the HOH is over who’s going home, ice that person out all week and be mean to them if they try to campaign, psych them out so they do poorly in the veto, unanimous eviction” strategy - 22 was just dull. All the returnees know the fandom and know not to be too crazy or they’ll be attacked after leaving, plus most of them know each other enough to not have major personality clashes.

I think 22 killed the chances of there ever being another All Stars unless they sequester double the needed number of houseguests and actually surprise them with who gets in, or some absurd twist that makes pre-gaming irrelevant/impossible.

Yeah. I’m fairly certain they will never do another All Star seasons again and they only did it due to the pandemic anyhow. They couldn’t properly cast newbies. BB22 is literally just BB16 but worse because these people should have known what they were doing

  • Unpopular opinion - BB22 Memphis was so bad he was good. His insistence on doing whatever he wanted as HOH even though it benefited no one in his alliance. And them just letting the “old man” do what he wants. His bizarre one sided battle against David because he didn’t think he deserved to be there. Because he forgot Dan manipulated and carried him to the finale of bb10. Man still thought he was a renegade and if you find the disillusionment of others funny, then this is not a season to be missed. Otherwise yeah. This season sucked

Memphis might genuinely be the most interesting part of this season. That’s crazy to think about and it didn’t hit me until you said that. His plan to name both of his final 3s the same thing was pretty funny to me

Yupp, and credit to Cody because it might have even worked had Cody not had the stronger Enzo relationship

Yupp, a real instance of Fuck "the House" .. ya'll Evict the House target yourselves, that's one week of safety for me

  • Didn’t care to watch the finale.

The only good part of the entire season was part of the finale! When Cody sent Nicole packing!! I waited an entire boring ass season with nothing happening until that one moment where I got some excitement!!

  • The only reason I somewhat enjoyed that season is because I liked seeing players from different seasons interact together. The game play was not good.

So for those who are a fan of just the game, it's a hard watch. If you're a fan of the people in the house, it's manageable.

    1. It’s one of the worst things (scripted/unscripted) I have ever watched.
  • It is the most boring season of the show. People say seasons 9, 15, 19, 21, or 25 are the worst, but at least those seasons have things that happen. There is less strategy that season than BB1. I guess all the gameplay happened off camera 🥴

  • 10 a majority alliance won essentially every HOH and veto minus 1 veto no joke the rest were won by the majority alliance it was so predictable and boring even the feeds were boring pregaming hall of fame and def the reason big brother is too scared to pull the all stars trigger again

So maybe don’t tell them why it was bad. Just say it was bad and then don’t spoil the whole season lol

  • I never finished it.

  • 0 & it IS the worst season of BB, full stop… which is saying a lot considering that trash-ass dumpster fire of a s19 exists.

    1. Its one of 3 seasons I couldn't force myself to finish.
  • It’s actually painful

  • it's the only season i started and did not finish lmao it's utter dogshit

  • i couldn’t make it thru it….a solid 2 for 22 out of 10

  • Idk, I wanted to watch cus I love Tyler but found myself literally falling asleep.

Tyler did not want to be there at all. I feel like all he did was talk about how much he missed Angela and wanted to go home 😭😭

  • Probably a 2. The only seasons I have no intention to ever rewatch are 19 and 22. It felt like nobody even wanted to be there

  • -20. It’s bad enough that it’s boring and predictable. But the fact that these are returning players makes it irredeemable. That’s about all I can say until you watch the season, and if you do, I wish you luck.

  • 2/10. The finale is glorious, and so is a certain veto win a ways into the season (trust me, you’ll know which one I’m referring to when you get to it), but these great moments are like if you dumped a bucket of fucking sand into a gourmet meal. I do not want to dig through all that shit again just to get to the good stuff.

  • 2.5 out of 10

Its basically how All Stars shouldn't be done.

People not wanting to make waves (KEVIN). An unbalanced cast made up with more recent players, with some questionable casting (BB21 David is here randomly). Pre-Gaming between houseguests. People preferring to vote out via a pecking order and not make big moves. Too many houseguests avoiding public conflict, but were willing to shit-talk in private. And lot of All Stars playing extremely worse than their earlier games Daniele, Nicole Franzel, Nicole Anthony, Janelle, Ian, Tyler, Kevin.

In comparison, only Big Brother 1 & Celebrity Big Brother 3 have worse gameplay.

  • 2, the only positive is seeing Janelle and Kaysar again

  • it felt like a fake season tbh

  • I’ll be a slightly dissenting voice and say more like a 3. Its big crime is simply being boring. Some seasons are hard to watch for really awful reasons (21 is one of those for me). BB22 is hard to watch bc it won’t hold your attention and you’re at risk of falling asleep.

  • 4,

It’s a Big Brother season on rails

  • 4 not as bad as everyone is saying imo but still bot great

  • Worst season outside of 19 and 1 imo. I actually think the Early weeks are solid ,but after that it's a slog

Yeah after the first couple weeks the only notable things imo are the triple eviction getting spoiled and nicole going out third.honorable mentions: Day's veto and eviction speech

19 had a decent pre jury, it’s not even close to being as bad as 1/22

BB19 feeds alone carry it above BB22.

  • It really isn't worth watching other than it was kind of nice to see Kaysar and Janelle back after all these years, but they don't stick around long and don't play very well.

Any house guest you used to like in their OG season, you will tire of fast and wonder how you ever rooted for them : I'm talking Cody, Danielle Donato, Nicole A, and F, Tyler, Da'vonne.

Ironically the only house guest I liked better this time around than on their original season was Christmas, and I hate to say that because I am not a Christmas fan, but it was nice getting to see her play in competitions where she wasn't on crutches. I did not like the way she went about the whole Bailey and Davonne situation BUT, despite screwing it up initially, I do respect her standing her ground on this with those two trying to make it into a thing to make her look even worse on TV than she actually was, I never liked Bailey, but I lost all respect I had for Davonne during this, where I had liked her in earlier seasons, now I never want to see her back in that house again. The other area Christmas earned points from me was from doing something I so rarely see, and that's having someone wanting to go up on the block and go out, and choosing to not put them there and go after her targets anyway.

I can't believe I just wrote a whole paragraph in support of Christmas when I don't even like her very much and it's going to likely get me some down votes, but I have to give her credit where it is due. But otherwise it was terrible, Danny, Menphis, Keisha, Kevin, Enzo both Nicoles. Ian was there and a sweet heart, but wasn't in the super alliance so...

I hate that you made valid points about my least favorite houseguest💀 Christmas can kick rocks, but I must admit her refusing to let Tyler self-nominate on her HOH was queen behavior. That is the ONLY props you will ever catch me giving that horrendous woman

The only thing worth watching is Da'Vonne and Bayleigh going off on that trash.

I know, but I will give props where it is due. I'm not sure pissing off and going after bayley and davonne was necessarily the best move for her, but I think sticking with it after she had done that and choosing not to waiver was the move and I wish so many more hohs in big brother history would have known after they make a plan to execute it and don't let them talk you out of it.

Here's looking at you Weasel Man (BB27) and Frank (BB14)... among others

that was her strongest move and i’m saying that as someone who hates christmas as a player and a person … the way a houseguest finally stood up and told someone who wanted to self nominate themselves on their ally hoh week “no” is refreshing. she knew if she said yes, tyler who was her number 1 ally was going to go home since he didn’t want to be there anymore.

"Any house guest you used to like in their OG season, you will tire of fast and wonder how you ever rooted for them : I'm talking Cody, Danielle Donato, Nicole A, and F, Tyler, Da'vonne." Honestly I'd add everyone in there except Kaysar, Janelle, and I guess Keesha.

  • 2 and it only gets that because of something that happens in the final three that is genuinely surprising( a first for the season).

There’s just nothing of value. No fights, no changes of allegiances, no power shifts nothing it’s a completely empty experience where you know what is going to happen every single week.

  • If 10 is considered the worse, 1300

    Worst season ever!

  • It was a little rough, Covid was going on. I’ve seen worse, like S19.

  • I give it an overall 5

Very boring season... Why no one went after Cody is beyond me.... Miles ahead of S21 & S19! Still bottom of the seasons list

    1. The only season I never finished. I stopped after the triple eviction. It's just so brutally boring.
  • Awful! It was something to look forward to in the Covid days, and was such a letdown

  • Worst season of all time because it was just so dull and boring. I didn’t like the things that were happening in 9, 19 or celebrity 2 but at least things were happening

  • It was rough, but i think anyone who thinks any of seasons of this show are completely avoid at all cost unwatchable, are over reacting, it’s never that serious. It’s worth it if you’re going through all of them.

  • One of the worst seasons of all time. Bb22 is up there for just being so terrible alongside bb19.

  • 1 Literally NOTHING happens. For real. Its so bad that at one point, here and even on TWITTER, people were rooting for Christmas to win

  • I quit watching after the triple eviction because what should have been a historic night ended up feeling like a complete waste of my time instead.

Whatever you watch BB for, BB22 doesn’t have it.

  • I hate to say it, but I didn't mind BB22. Maybe it was just nostalgia being a superfan, but I always welcome returnees, especially from older seasons. Now yes the game play was bad, but not bad enough that I couldn't watch. Plus there are still iconic moments from this season I find myself going back to watch clips. Overall not the worst season, gets a bump in my book just because I get to see old players again.

  • If ever a season needed a Coup dé’tat, it was BB22.

  • I started watching big brother live during big brother 8 then went back and watched 2-7 and have watched every season, I’ve even gone back and rewatched some of the seasons, with big brother 22 I never finished it because it was so bad. I would personally rank it dead last out of all of the seasons. I would never go back and attempt to finish it, I like to pretend it doesn’t exist.

  • The OGs getting out because of pre season alliances, made for a shitty season

  • I have watched every season of BB at least twice except for BB22. There are several episodes I’ve never even seen of that season bc I know there’s no reason. It’s abysmal.

  • If you like strategy, maybe a 5? There's a mix of very good and absolute ass gameplay this season.

If you like entertainment, like a -1. Nearly everything goes the Committee and subsequently Cody's way the entire season due to comps.

  • it’s genuinely unwatchable…the most excitement was when davonne won the veto…literally thats it

  • It was by far the worst season. The winner was decided week 1. Pre-gaming and outside the house drama tainted the season before it had even started.

  • I didn’t watch it live. I didn’t think it was that bad. It was during Covid. Several players did pre-game. It still has a lot of players that I recognized which was fun. I do dislike how physical this era is.

    1. I was NOT able to finish BB22, as I stopped watching after Week 3. It was just so boring and predictable. And I was able to finish the entirety of BB1, so that's saying something.
  • It’s the season that made me stop watching as a lifelong “super fan”. I’m sure people will disagree with me but for an all star season, it was a complete joke. From what I remember, BB21 at least had some funny and entertaining moments. BB22 was a drag for me.

I’m slowly starting to catch up on seasons I’ve missed, though. 🥲

  • There are maybe 2-3 seasons I refuse to rewatch and BB22 is one of them.

    2/10

  • Unpopular opinion: I enjoyed it

If you don’t mind, can you tell us why

I don't mind it, it's All-Stars, just seeing the big ticket names again were amazing in any capacity

    1. And if the ending was a little different, it would be a 1.
