Been doing about 1000km of z2 base training per week so far this season. My Lambo dealer says I should rotate my tires every 3k for optimal performance on my daily driver, so it seems strange my soigneur hasn't been rotating my tires every few weeks on my sir-velo. Should I fire him, or is he right that it's not necessary?
*note I had to stop buying new tires for every ride because of the trump tariff import costs.
Your soigneur rotates your tyres? Are you so pour that you can’t even afford an actual bike mechanic? I pay my soigneurs specifically to hand me bottles and gels. They’re not allowed to touch any of my bices!
I gave my mechanique the month off to prepare for the next race season. He's in New Zealand with my wife as a guide, who I just found out is an expert on New Zealand geology and tourism!
If you’re riding 1000 miles your tires are rotating plenty.
Wait, who's riding bices outside?
Rotation should be as easy as applying lubricant to your disc brakes!
Does your soigneur know that he was actually hired as a mécanicien?
Your support car should inform you when they need a change mid training
rotate the tires? you seem to still have the pours mindset. you should be replacing your entire wheelset every 1000km, and the frame 2x/year. the cabron fibre loses its freshness rapidement.
My consigliere rotates my Pas Normal Studios pump twice a session
I buy new tires after every cafe ride so basically every ride hope that helps.
How pour are you? They should be handing you a new nice every ride.
You should really be replacing your tyres before every Zwift ride
That’s true because indoor can flat spot your tires
Unless your rides are 1000km+ each, you are really pour. Tires should be changed at every ride. Soigner should only be allowed to massage your balls by the way.
