    If you had a tornado pick up thousands of battery powered sturdy lamps in the middle of the night, you'd have a bright light tornado ?

    Not necessarily, I also happen to be a tornado nerd (which is why I made this post, as someone beat me to explaining color changing tornadoes), and the if you threw a whole bunch of battery powered lamps, they would be shredded by the tornado, and all light would be cancelled because of the fact that the batteries aren't charging anything anymore. However, if the lamps were somehow indestructible, then the tornado would become this one giant Disco Ball basically.
